I feel that Adam Lambert has a done nothing to deserve canceling his interview and he deserves a chance, personally I have seen worse on daytime TV or the music videos, i feel that yes maybe it offended some folks, but if you check out shows on today, lambert was mild. he didnt remove clothes, not like soaps, they are down right dirty at times.so should we banned them all from interviews, no turn it off, block it,change the channel. thanks rose

WHAT DID HE DO THAT WAS SOOOO WRONG…HE KISSED A GUY….SO WHAT HE’S GAY…..HE ACTED OUT HIS SONG…..BIG DEAL…..ELVIS GYRATED ON NATIONAL TV AND THEY CUT HIM OFF AT THE WASTE…..BIG DEAL…..HE WENT ON TO A GREAT CAREER AND SO WILL ADAM….

American Idol in my mind is an all american person, who is givin a chance to show their singing talent. Kids whatch them on TV and are inspired to try to reach their dream, even if it means making a fool of your self trying. Adam tarnishes it. Madonna would not have dressed or acted so risky if she was in American Idol. Cancel Adam till he can clean up his act.

Not to be misunderstood, I continue to be an Adam Lambert fan. My message to him is to learn by his mistakes. We all make them. The world wants to see more of Adam Lambert, not less. I definitely think he should sing on the next award show, and I’ll bet his act will be a whole other performance. Absolutely over-the-top great! Beryl Shaw

I think he is a great singer. What did he do that Madonna has not done (even when she wasn’t well known back in the 80’s)? Just because he is gay means nothing. We are in 2010 people….live and let live.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING ANY OF THE SHOWS AFTER THE AMA YOU WOULD HAVE HEARD HIS RESPONSES….I DON’T THINK HE WILL EVER PULL A STUNT LIKE THAT AGAIN ON NATIONAL TV BUT HE WASN’T GOING TO APOLOGIZE FOR WHO HE IS. IT WAS JUST ABOUT 11:00PM AND THEY WERE PUSHING HIS PERFORMANCE ON THE AMA ALL NIGHT. IT WAS ADAM LAMBERT…HE WAS DIFFERENT FROM DAY 1 IF YOU WERE WATCHING AI. HE DOES HAVE A TERRIFIC VOICE AND HIS CD IS AWESOME….. HE IS HIS OWN PERSON AND I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE HIM IN PERSON.
REGARDING HIS VOICE THAT NIGHT, HE ADMITTED HE WAS VERY NERVOUS. CUT THE GUY SOME SLACK…PLEASE….

I was for Adam Lambert all the way during the IDOL competition. I could not stop raving over this guy. Then he blew his performance on the AMA show. This is a good example of a novice celebrity becoming too self-assured too quickly. People say Madonna gets away with certain stage behavior, so, why can’t Adam? The answer to that question is because Madonna has earned the right to perform any way she pleases, due to her hard-earned, mega-stardom as a singer in the Industry. But Adam is new. He must be careful. He didn’t take his new celebrity-DOM with humble gratitude. Instead, he flaunted it in our faces. Also, his singing ability, which during IDOL was suberb, for the AMA show, leaped over the edge and became ‘hollaring’. The whole performance was what I’d call a mistake performance. Then Ellen gave him an opportunity to redeem himself, apologize to the world, and he did not. He said he was having a good time up there on the stage. So, he blew it twice. Here’s what needs to happen: Adam should make a statement to America, such as: “I apologize if I offended anyone, and I now see that my performance might have done so.” Then America needs to forgive him and get over this episode. the proverbial big splash– gay party was held at the AMA. I never liked them (parties). I dont mind gays.I mind how they extremely flaunt there sexuality and their public over-the-top antics when it comes to sex. It is disgusting that Idol is have Ellen D. judge for Simon. As she saw nothing wrong with what Adam did. Why dont we just go to the “rest areas” on the side of the highways…you get the same shows there–nothing different, than what I saw on TV.
