Adam Lambert was the best in country week! The version of Ring of Fire that he sang threw everyone for a loop which is exactly the sort of reaction that he was most likely going for. It was hillarious to see how everyone was so speechless at the end of the song, but Randy got it right when he said that it was hot.

Adam is a real artist. He will push the envelope as Prince, David Bowie and Michael Jackson did. Randy Jackson has it right he is currrect, young, fresh and unique.

I think that Adam completely destroyed the famous Johnny Cash song. Johnny Cash is probably rolling from horror of his ruined song. I think that Adam will be going home. I hope that he does go home!!!!!!

Either Michael or Scott is going home, and i think Scott did better than Michael.
Adam may have threw EVERYONE through a loop (including myself, and i have voted for him everytime.) but he did what he was trying to… WOW the audience. It wasnt the ‘Ring of Fire’ we are used to, but what is genuine about covering a song exactly like it was originally sang? Im not going to lie… i didnt really like his preformance, but he is fresh, new, and extreemly unique.

BE HONEST!! SCOTT WILL NEVER SELL MANY RECORDS..NOTHING SPECIAL. ADAM HAS HIS SPECIAL THING,MEGAN DOES TOO. The show was awesome,though a little bit shocking since some favorites performed below their normal!This week Scott and Michael are going and the judges arent going to save them!

Adam is a FREAK!! I think I also read somewhere he is NOT an amateur. Hard to believe but sounds like he gets paid to be and look like a freak! Really none of this years contestants stand out.

Adam was ok, Scott was good, Alexis and Lil needs to go! Michael will prob go home, but Lil stunk it up. Anoop Dog was good as well.

I cannot believe the closed mindedness of (some) of this group here. This isn’t about what genre of music you personally like. It’s about talent. I dare anyone to try to hit those notes Adam did. Johnny cash was a LOT more liberal than you think. He covered a lot of alternative songs, including Nine Inch Nails. I’d like to welcome a little Glam into the fray for a change…the country folks have had their share of wins. My Picks: Danny/ Adam/ Lil Rounds

Adam has a good voice, sure, but if you think his version of “Ring of Fire” was anything more than HORRIBLE then you are deaf. He was aweful. There is no way im ever going vote for an obnoxious screamer makes out with the same sex as the AMERICAN IDOL. That’s rediculous. Danny and Anoop are my favorite by far.

Lol, I’m sorry, I didn’t hear any screaming. It’s one thing to dislike the rendition of a song, but to base your opinion of who is worthy to be a top-selling artist on their sexual preferences is just plain … too “Red State” for me.

I was a little disappointed when I heard Adam was gay but it just doesn’t matter. His talent,looks,and charisma put him in a league of his own. He knows who he is and soon so will millions more. He’s headed for the top and will become a huge force in the music industry worldwide.

I thought Adam was horrible, I thought I was going to vomit!!!! There are others who are really fantistic who can sing anything and so why should someone like Adam screech his way to the top when others can sign country, rock, blues etc.? Also, should an idol be gay? Very questionable????

alexis shouldn’t have gone home. Based on last weeks performance Micheal or Scott better step it up, and Megan is only on there still because of her looks she is always off key and what is up with that waddling dance.

i think danny rocked and will rock wen. too he is far better than anyone on the show and adam teally sucked last week danny is the next american idol he has passion and emotion in everthing that he sings adam just wants the attention,,, i will have a party when anoop finally gets voted off ….

i think its way past time for anoop to go home. why would you want someone whos so rich and would never have to work a day in his life, to be handed something he could buy….just doesnt make sence to me. give someone a chance that is acually working for it.
