Of course Ellen couldn't and didn't "irritate" the contestants !! She hasn't got a clue on how to judge this contest and should not be on as a judge of this show. Saying really much of anything makes her look more idiotic than she already is. Her show is also without a doubt absolutely moronic !!!

Ellen certainly does come off as being a very sensitive, caring person. She has done quite well this season. She, for one important point, did not confuse and irritate the contestants.

I watch Ellen’s show every day ,and love it what a gorgeous person she is,and I have to say Randy Cara Simon and Ellen have made a great team,I can’t say I didnt like Paula Abdul,because I know nothing about her she just didn’t appeal to me just didnt connect,but what do I know,Ellen seems to me to be a truly beautiful person.

If Ellen is not qualified to judge, then neither are all the millions of people who vote each week. And these many, many unqualified people choose the AI each year, not the judges. Last year was the first time I have actually seen the choice as unfair to the winner’s ability and talent. Ellen is fun and judges by what she hears and likes as all of us who listen to any music do. Ellen is the best judge on the panel. She doesn’t give all those very confusing directives and suggestions the others give which confuse those kids far too much.

I believe a judge should have experience and meet certain qualifications to judge any event. Ms. Degeneres is not qualified for this position.
