Paula has already did shows with simon on the x factor. X-factor has been going since 2004.
look up x-factor videos on youtube.
I think the x factor will over come AI.

I got to also say that i DO NOT like that judge louis walch on the x factor. He is so rude to the contestants and to the other judges.
I saw several shows of the x factor, and it is just like American Idol, but… more fun, because there is no age limit.
I LOVE THE X-FACTOR.

I see in previous comments that people are complaining about Kara and/or Victoria Beckhem being judges. Hey, guess what..? They are proper singers in their own right and can, I’m sure, viably judge a singing competition such as this; Not to mention the fact that Kara has made a name for herself in the music industry as a song writer.

But what about this Ellen D. being a judge? Eh?…you good people complain when solid validated songmeisters are nominated for American Idol Judgeship but let it slide when a no talent %#%#$ like Ellen is chosen to sit on the panel all season long? Are you kidding me?

I’ve watched every American Idol episode to date but when ‘Ellen’ takes her seat as judge my viewing days are over. Sad, but true. Oh well, it has been a pleasure to have watched American Idol all these past years but no more my friends, no more.

I liked Paula a lot and was very sad to see her go. She was a musician, dancer, singer, so i always felt like she had every right to be on the show and judge those kids. Now, that she’s gone, my only concern is this: Will Ellen De whatever be able to judge a music competition. She’s not a musician, what does she know about it? I mean, she’s a comedian – that’s great – but what business does a comedian have judging a music competition.

Kara is alright, never really heard of her before this but she’s ok. But why on earth would anyone bring on Victoria Bekham as a guest judge??? She’s a complete bimbo – she wasnt even saying anything constructive or remotely intelligent.
I dont like this new band of judges.

American Idol will tank this season. Why, partly because Paula is not there but mostly because Simon called it quits after this season. Let’s face it, Simon is the show, like him or not. Who can possibly replace him? Whoever they pick they will be judged against Simon and that will be hard act to follow. Honestly, Idol is losing the charm it had. From last year’s Idol I thought Lambert was a real talent but now he is just a dirtbag wanting attention. And who won last year, I don’t even remember his name. My prediction is that Idol will tank after this season and good riddance.

Kara is truly lame. Paula was so much more fun and entertaining. I still watch but honestly everytime Kara speaks I cringe. Ellen is at least fun so maybe that will make up for Kara’s lame attempt at being interesting. We shall all see.

Looking forward to Idol this year!! Wohoo, Kara was awesome last year, she was honest and has the talent herself to back up her comments. Look forward to Ellen this season too!! Gonna be awesome with or without Paula and Randy Simon MUST return, we all anticipate his comments lol
