Ellen DeGeneres surely knows performance. The girl’s got rhythm and she can sing with rhythm, dig her rendition of Snoop on her comedy special and her dancing every episode of her own show.

As for her sexual orientation, that’s got nothing to do with her judging musical talent. Now, if she was judging something that couldn’t be on regular tv and viewed by families, well. That’s not what she’s judging. But what’s interesting is that homosexuality is rampant in the music business which doesn’t have a negative impact against us straight music fans. And so what if so many music business folks are gay?

i am so happy ellen will be a judge ,she will do a great job ,she doesn t have to be musically endowed ,she has ears just like everyone else ,and i know i can t sing but i know when some one is off key , and i wish people would stop bashing ellen ,and last year adam ,sounds like jealousy to me , they are people and are just like us ,but have difference so leave them alone ,and if you are not watching idol why are you writing on here !

As far as the American Idol Show I have been watching it faithfully since it has been on. It is hard for these contestants to come on stage in the first place. At least when Paula, Randy and Simon worked together they were sincere and were there for the contestants. Kara only cares about her self and will do anything to be noticed. Kara comes across as being mean with no feeling. This is the reason I can’t stand to watch it she just turns me off. It is a shame because I really enjoyed the show for so many years, and enjoyed looking at all the faces of the contestants. The stories they told the hardships they had to go through and never gave up. I always felt this show was encouragement for others not to give up on your dreams, but Kara has just changed the whole way I look at the show now.

I would like to tell you the reason why we are watching the American idol show. It is to see the different talents. Not to see the Judges acting like children.
At list we try to teach the children not to hurt the feelings of others.
A lot of times the judges are laughing and rolling their eyes and so many other childish things they are doing and saying.
Tonight a boy named Jessy Hamilton forgot his song title, of the song Tomorrow never comes. and Merry J. Blige could not stop laughing.
I would like to know what she was laughing about. She did not even hear his voice yet. Was she laughing because of his looks. We all know we have no control of how we look.
I am Pretty sure she is not perfect either. I am sure of that because none of us are perfect.
Are the judges getting extra money to make these kids look like they do not have nothing to leave for. Hard to believe, but never impossible.
Thank you for taking the time to read this note. I wish you would do something to make this show more enjoyable. It is a beautiful show. If it was not for the judges acting like they came from an other planet to destroy earth.
