   I have had enough of the judges! Lets watch funnerals, mind frame and depressing!
   Keep the singers, the host and get ride of the judges

   This is the absolute worst judging; 90% negative, wishy washy, who cares how old someone is? That isn´t what sells recordings. When I buy a DVD I do not look up to see how old the artist is, however if the vocals come across clear, and wholesome, I will pay the money for the song. Four grumpy judges have turned me off to watching my favorite show.

   This is the worst bunch of contestants ever!!! I don’t think I will watch this season. They can’t sing. Who cares about their “story”. Put on people who have talent.

   The girls have all of the talent. Idol should dump the guys and continue with the girls. Almost every girl has talent to star. Almost all of the guys were dreadful.

   I wasn’t going to post my thoughts because I didn’t want to sound to negative but since I see I’m not the only one I guess it safe to say I have officially given up on AI. I’m on West coast so Idol has not been on yet. I think I’ll watch Crystal Bowersox tonight but that’s it. Is there anyone else I should fast forward to an watch tonight?

   I still say Adam Lambert ruin Idol for all of us.

   The girls were better than the guys. I enjoyed the talent tonight. I agree the judges are not giving good advice. To picky and not constructive. These are suppose to be beginners not stars. Let the mistakes correct themselves. Cara just goes on and on she needs to not act like she is the expert. she wants Simon’s role She can’t hold a candle to Simon. Ellen has some humor I love that. Randy is always holding back and trying to be nasty nice. Thank you ladies for the nice night.

    Never voted or commented before but…I think that this year is looking for an artist verses a pop star profile. A difficult twist to get use to after years of following the judge’s lead. America, vote for what you like, not the song or the animation of the artist. Look at those artists who have longevity, a voice to transcend time, and a style – maybe not yet every note or stance in place. We decide. Not the song. Listen to the voice. Thanks

    i wonder why simon was playing with his niples not only was he playing with them but he was pinching them lol but it was hilarious and i totally did not agree with the judges tonight i think they got everyone backwards i think that the girls are doing much better and that the judges should give them more credit than was givin and the girl who sang the creed song should never try that again

    Skotie, there were a couple of girls who did really well. I would say watch Lilly and Siobhan as well as Crystal.

    Crystal gave the best all-around performance. But if you had to isolate the best moment, that without a doubt went to Siobhan. Wow! That note and the other just a bit before it put her up there with Crystal for the lead of the girls. I had to keep replaying to hear that note, sheesh.

    I have no idea what Lacie or Haeley are still doing there, but they will both be gone soon. I don’t meant to come off racist, because I am not, but Haeley might just be on there and given the face time she always gets because of her skin color. It first seemed apparent to me early on and now makes sense given her talent.

    Crystal, in my opinion, is already guaranteed a recording contract. Lilly Scott shows potential, but I want to see her a bit more. I think they over-complement Paige as well. She has a tremendous voice, but hasn’t put it together that well. She would normally receive nothing by criticism by the judges, but she hasn’t…too much. Outside of Crystal, Siobhan, Lilly, and possibly Paige, no one else has a shot. The ones not mentioned are talented and great karaoke singers, but they won’t win. Although if Didi actually sang a few songs fit for her voice, she might be held in higher regard…it’s completely on her song choice as her voice sounds too pitchy on most songs (although I think she intends it to be that way it seems).

    Girls or Guys? I’ll stick with my guys. There are more “stars” among the guys and are overall better. But the girls have better moments. Crystal might be the only one to compete for “best” though.

    Also, previous commenters are right on. AI has moved on from pop-star profile to the folk/indie style. They are less Miley Cyrus and more Sheryl Crow/Alanis Morissette.

    For guys, they seem to be more rock front-men…I keep thinking Pearl Jam (Vedder) with Lee and Casey.

    Crystal, Sibohn and Lily Scott were the top three in that order..I agree that Hayley and Lacie will be gone

    Crystal is ok but I don’t see why everyone is going so crazy over her. All of the real vocal talent and recording potential lies in Lilly, you can just tell she loves music. So far the only CD I can see myself purchasing would be one from Lilly, judges need to stop throwing all of their favoritism behind the older contestants, because America is being led into voting for another bland boring artist, aka (Bowersox).

    This corporate marketing bullshit that is going on with the judges is really beginning to annoy me. Lilly did the best tonight Randy, Ellen and Kara actually praised the performance saying it was the “best of the night” and then Simon says nothing to critique the performance except hey America, don’t forget about Bowersox. Please America, vote on who you think you would actually listen to when they put out some of their work. So far the only person that I truly believe I would listen to would be Lilly and Andrew.

    I didn’t expect to like Siobhan (?) at all but she’s growing on me. I also like Crystal, Lilly and Katelyn to move on. Didi was really disappointing, her performances this couple of weeks are truly forgettable, I even forgot that she was my early favorite. I wish Lilly Scott could win it all though, she’s the only one who actually got me to watch Idol, I never did before.

    Lilly and Siobhan. Those were the only ones worth listening to.

    The judges are way too negative. If it wasn’t for Ellen all the singers may as well leave because the judges complain even when they do a great job. Lighten up judges!
    Also I was blown away by the performance of Siobhan Magnus. I couldn’t tell if it was her or Aritha up there singing. She was fantastic.

    Siobhan rocked the boat last night! She was “DOPE” said Randy. I think she will be better and better each week. I would like to see her go all the way. She is awesome. I do like Lilly as well. All of Cape Cod is rooting for Siobhan…you go girl!!! Take it to the limit!

    I love Crystal, Siobhan and Di Di, I voted for all of them.
    I like Paige and Katelyn and Lilly.

    Casey James is the only guy I really like and voted 60 times for him. I voted a few for two other guys too.

    I think there is talent this year but NO flamboyancy.

    I think the final 4 are already lined up – Siobhan, Chrystal, Lee and Alex. I have a hunch that Siobhan will win it in the end though. Every performance she’s given since hollywood week has been flawless and interesting. She will definately make this year’s line up shine.

    Crystal has definite chops, but she has to be careful not to get stuck in a rut. Same with Lilly, who could also run out of steam locked in an interesting, but somewhat predictable indie style. For me Siobhan leads the pack. She is truly fearless AND unpredictable. Crystal and Lilly get all the acknowledgment for being “indie” and unique, but to be honest I feel like they’re aping styles that others have pioneered. They’re good, but I don’t feel like I’m seeing anything “new”. By contrast, Siobhan seems to be beaming transmissions from her own interesting little planet. If she keeps slaying songs and being so endearingly goofy (and I mean that as high praise), she could prove the most interesting over the long haul, and–as Simon said–the dark horse to win it.

    The top 6 are (not in order) Crystal, Lilly, Siobhan, Lee, Casey, (the last spot is questionable but the leader is Big Mike if you add in all the personality and face time).

    From there, it will be a crap-shoot…but the top 2 to me are Crystal and Lee. But every other name listed could have a wow performance and take over…it’s that close there. If Siobhan has another blow away and remembered performance…she leads the pack because they are allowing Crystal to just cruise along.

    I guess I’m totally alone when I say that I love Didi. I thought she was great from the beginning and maybe I’m tone deaf but I feel that she has sounded wonderful ever since. I don’t get what the judges are saying. They are picking on the girls so much and although half of them suck, I think half are very good. Chrystal, Siobhan Lilly, Didi, and possibly Katie are all very talented. Maybe the judges are hearing something that I’m not but I think they are sooo critical and WRONG! this is the only American Idol, since the days of Sanjya (spelling?) that I have been this mad!

    You’re not alone. I like Didi’s voice as well. But she is incredibly pitchy. I think that is how her voice is though and they pick apart something that is intending to be that way…..it’s a grey area.

    Crystal, Siobahn, Lily are all exceptionally talented. I predict that these three will become successful recording artists regardless of AI results. I just don’t see any of the guys measuring up this year.

    One of the girls will definetly be crowned this seasons winner. Song choice will determine who goes the distance. I wish Didi would try Natalie Umbruglia’s TORN… She would jump to the front if she could nail this song!!!!!

    Didi is my favorite although Lillie and Siobhan are great. I don’t like Crystal. She’s ordinary.

    Randy is the worst judge. He should be sent home. Kara sucks too. Obviously Simon is overestimating Crystal.

    I like Siobhan as the greatest contestant in this season!!! Crystal the second and lily the third…for girls…Siobhan is the best for this season…

    No one is better than Andrew Garcia! I can’t believe that the judges didn’t like ‘Sugar Were Going Down’. By far the greatest song/performance!! He is amazingly talented and deserves to win!!

    No season can beat last season’s talent Adam Lambert.. People want to see another Adam in the show, but unfortunately, nothing can beat Lambert’s talent. This season is the worst by far. No one can really belt it out.. And Lee is so pitchy, why in the world these judges picked him… Such a bummer!!!

    Crystal Bowersox. She is really very good and stiff competition. Katelyn close on her heels.

    I must admit that last season was by far better than this one. Adam Lambert was the best.
