American Idol 2013 debuts the twelfth season for FOX’s singing competition show and with it arrives a brand new pool of talented singers and three new faces behind the judges table.

Music’s superstars Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Nicki Minaj join the return of Randy Jackson along with perennial host Ryan Seacrest. FOX hopes to shake up the ratings and draw back in their audience with big names at on the panel, but will the drama turn away the viewers instead?

In an attempt to mix things up for Season 12, executives report that while there may not be a change in the unlimited voting we will see a difference on just when that voting begins.
