The American Idol 2014 journey continues this week on FOX when the Golden Ticket holders head to Hollywood. But don’t settle in just yet, Hopefuls. American Idol has a surprise for the singers that will cut the journey short for many of them.
Judges Harry Connick Jr, Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban will reveal dramatic news to the singers who are expecting Hollywood Week as usual when they arrive in this week’s episodes.
Starting Wednesday, February 5, 2014 FOX will air a two-hour episode featuring “Hollywood or Home.” This new twist will force dozens of the 200+ Hopefuls to sing on the spot for the judges and face immediate elimination. Many singers will be sent back home without ever getting to unpack their bags.
Then the next night, Thursday, February 6th we’ll see the remaining singers move on to American Idol 13’s Hollywood week in a one hour episode starting at 8PM ET/PT.
