It was the last night on the American Idol stage as the Top 3 finalists were announced and then performed for your votes for a chance to become this year’s Idol winner.
We heard from all four of the remaining contestants before MacKenzie Bourg was eliminated, but he isn’t going to let that keep him down. The other three singers, Dalton Rapattoni, La’Porsha Renae, and Trent Harmon, all went on to sing three more songs this round in hopes of winning over your support.
It was a beautiful and bittersweet performance show closing with Judge Harry Connick Jr. commenting that this was the last time they’d be giving advice to the singers with the close of the night. It’s so hard to see this go, but at least the Top 3 made it look good!
