As soon as Spencer Lloyd walked in to his American Idol 2014 audition Jennifer Lopez was already talking about his good looks. “Girls are going for this right now,” said JLo as she circled him in the air. Harry Connick Jr. immediately joked that he didn’t like it one bit.
So how far does Spencer Lloyd make it on American Idol XIII? According to the spoilers Spencer does very well and gets to at least the 2014 Top 31! That means he survived Hollywood Week, including the new “Hollywood or Home” arena, and The Green Mile.
Spencer’s next challenge will be to survive the live shows and audience voting. Based on what Jennifer said I think it’s safe to assume we’ll be watching him on the Idol stage for awhile. Plus his choice of a Colton Dixon song during his audition won’t hurt his chances to draw on that same very supportive crowd.
