Only nine of the eleven Hopefuls will be singing for your votes, but the American Idol spoilers are here for the Top 11 song picks as they all prepared over the weekend in anticipation of another chance on stage.

  • Adanna Duru – “I Hate Myself For Loving You” by Joan Jett
  • Clark Beckham – “Every Breath You Take” by The Police
  • Daniel Seavey – “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates
  • Jax – “You Give Love A Bad Name” by Bon Jovi
  • Joey Cook – “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper
  • Maddie Walker – “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” by Poison
  • Nick Fradiani – “Man In The Mirror” by Michael Jackson
  • Qaasim Middleton – “Addicted To Love” by Robert Palmer
  • Quentin Alexander – “In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins
  • Rayvon Owen – “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” by Tears for Fears
  • Tyanna Jones – “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston

Lot of good picks here, though Branden made better suggestions for several of them. Hopefully Quentin doesn’t go home with that song on the list because you know he’s going to do another “haunting performance” as JLo put it.

Jax could do a lot with Bon Jovi and she’ll need to if she wants to stop the vote-bleed these past few weeks in our polls. Tyanna similarly needs that big moment after last week’s flop and Whitney could be the way to do it.

What standouts in the list catch your eye for American Idol 2015 tonight? We’ll be back here at 8PM ET for the two-hour performance and results show so get ready for a lot of Idol coming your way.

  1. the only intriguing selection is “every rose has its thorn”. the rest are very unexciting. and as quirky as she is, joey cook is no Cyndi lauper. it would be really interesting if clark sang his song like a REAL stalker!

    • Yeah, Joey’s pick isn’t surprising as it seemed obvious she’d try for someone like Lauper. We’ll see if she’s back to completely changing it up or taming it down.

      • No way anybody could sit or stand through a 2 hour Joey concert, unless they were: a) deaf b) had ear plugs or c) were outside of the concert hall!

      • to me, joey is a novelty act. lauper may have started out that way but she really can sing and has a great voice. I think joey’s days are numbered, along with a bunch of others

      • Totally disagree – Joey is the best of the competition, growing each week, “widening her lane,” radio-ready,

      • You are so out to lunch! She is attrocious. Sounded like a deaf person singing. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Daniel was bad as well.

    • LOL The stalker vibe seems to fit Quentin better. To me, “Every Rose” is such a boring, repetitive song that the idea of dead eyes Maddie doing it seems suicidal. It should be interesting tonight.

      • I like “every rose”. I’d like it even more if carrie underwood sang it and really gave it a country twist

  2. Maddie –
You’re the only country singer in the competition. Pick a country song, for goodness sake!

    • Such a bad idea! That song doesn’t really fit ballad or uptempo. Not interesting from a performance or singing standpoint. Other better Whitney songs.

      • I don’t think she needed more of a song or range or performance, she sounded like Whitney Houston and blew her competition into obscurity!

      • It had everyone there dancing, everyone in America talking, and everyone everywhere singing along !

  3. I have to admit that I was a little excited when this season began but disappointment crept back in with the choices the judges made for the Top 24. Now, there are very few that excite me as singers.
