American Idol Tour 2015: Dream Come True For Top 5
The Top 5 American Idol 2015 contestants will have the chance to do something this summer that so many singers will never get to experience; they will get to perform live on tour as headliners.
Nick Fradiani said after being chosen for the Top 5 that he has “always wanted to go on tour” and can’t believe how amazing his luck is to get the chance to do just that. “I’ve always played a lot of shows, but never touring,” Nick said. “That’s like a whole other thing. So really excited and honored and just pumped up.”
“I mean being on tour is something I’ve dreamed of, you know,” Rayvon Owen told Fox Audio Central about being part of the American Idol Live Tour. “It’s kind of cheesy to say, but it literally is like a dream come true.”
“That is amazing, first of all, I’m going to need a passport because I don’t have one, Tyanna Jones said. “But it is so cool to think about the fact that I am actually going to go on tour.
“I have been waiting for this moment since I was a little girl, and the fact that I get to do it now is just mind blowing, and I’m super excited. You know, I have a lot of emotions right now because of Quentin going home, and, but just thinking about me going on tour and my family, you know, being proud of me is amazing.”
Jax said she can’t even put into words what it means to her to be part of the American Idol Tour for 2015.
“ They actually asked me that question right when I came off the stage on the show, and I don’t know how to process this,” Jax said. “This is what we’ve been working for, and now it’s finally here. It doesn’t feel like enough people are in the room for starters. We walk up to rehearsal and we’re like, “Oh rehearsal’s over already?” And now it’s down to the top five. Like this is unreal.”
Even though she was an early fan favorite, Jax herself was very uncertain she’d even make it past auditions. “I didn’t even think I’d make it past the judges round when I walked into that room, and now I’m on the top five of American Idol, the show I’ve watched growing up,” Jax told Fox Audio Centeral. “And now I’m going on tour, the tour I went to growing up after watching the show, and it’s like completely a dream.”
As for Clark Beckham, he said that touring and “performing for people live” is the driving force behind his passion for music. “Singing in the studio is a blast, and having that recorded music and sending that out and album sales and everything, music videos, all that’s really great,” Clark said, “but my favorite thing to do is to play for people live where people.”
“I don’t have to just sing for 90 seconds and jump out and do this and jump out and have little rehearsal, you know, where I can actually rehearse really well,” Clark told Fox Audio Central.
“I can sit and I can relax and play the music that is deep down rooted inside of me all for people who are there to hear just that, and that is what I am really excited about. And to be in the top five and to go on tour now, that’s what we get to really look forward to.”
