Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood was the darling of the CMT Music Awards and totally stole the show during her performance of “Church Bells”. Every time we see Underwood perform, we just can’t believe how she just seems to get better and better. We love all the past American Idol winners, of course, but the country girl from Oklahoma just holds a special place in our hearts.
Carrie Underwood won both Female Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the year for her song “Smoke Break” from her 2015 album Storyteller. After watching her rendition of the song live at the CMT Music Awards Wednesday night, we can easily understand how she won those awards!
Her writer’s lyrics are “terrible”! Putting poison into someone’s drink and “killing” them is “nothing” to “brag” about! Maybe should have looked at some of Jena Irene Asciutto’s songs that she isn’t using on her album? She could “Country” interject them.
