As Lauren Alaina prepares for next week’s release of her debut album Wildflower, the 16 year old singer announced that the song “Georgia Peaches” will be her follow up to first single “Like My Mother Does.” “Georgia Peaches” will hit radio on October 24th, but she will debut the track on Good Morning America on release day, Tuesday October 11th, followed by performances on Live! with Regis & Kelly (Oct 13) and Ellen (Oct 21) and interview features on E! News, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, CMT Insider, and GAC.

In addition, GAC will premiere a half-hour special Introducing: Lauren Alaina on Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. GAC cameras have been following Lauren around since June and have captured many important moments that have occurred since she won runner-up on Season 10 of American Idol in May. The show also features interviews with family, friends and industry leaders who have played an important role in his personal and professional life. GAC will also televise Lauren’s performance at The Grand Ole Opry on Oct. 22nd.

Goodness she is going to be busy with all those appearances and performances! Good for her though. Lauren Alaina has definitely been putting in a lot of hard work.

  1. I do like this kid and I do wish her well. I even pre-ordered her CD too……

  2. So DeWyze sold 168,000? Big surprise! He’s lucky it was that many! I never understood how that minimally talented “artist” won in the first place. There were at least half a dozen who were better!

  3. Smart choice to release this one as a single and promote it on TV. This is the best song on the album. 🙂
