It was an awesome ending to an otherwise boring season on American Idol and Lee Dewyze broke down even before he was announced the American Idol winner while Simon Cowell managed to tear up a little during his farewell speech.

Update:  Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia will sing “Together We Are One” as a farewell to Simon Cowell.  Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks will both be on the finale tonight.  It is rumored the guys will sing “You Make My Dreams Come True” and “Maneater”  and Lee Dewyze will perform with Hall and Oates and Crystal Bowersox [...]

Singing for the last time for our votes tonight on American Idol was our Top 2 Crystal and Lee and they were both amazing in their own unique way.  We also got to hear Simon Cowell’s final praises and criticisms as an American Idol judge.

It’s showtime on American Idol as Crystal and Lee take the stage one last time. Anything could happen and all the votes depend on how well the last two singers can handle the pressure tonight. Let’s see how it goes!

Update: Top Idol is reporting that the coronation song is called “Ever Since Tomorrow”.  This is not true.

Update: The two contestants will sing 3 songs each with Crystal getting the pimp spot since she won the coin toss.  They will sing a winner’s song, contestant choice and producer’s pick.
Update 2: Will Young will perform the boot song “Leave Right Now” tonight during the performance show.
