American Idol winner Scotty McCreery was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning! We are happy to say that Scotty is okay and no one was injured in the robbery, but it was all very frightening.
According to the Raleigh News & Observer, American Idol season 10 winner Scotty McCreery was visiting at a friend’s apartment when the incident occurred. Three armed men entered the apartment and held Scotty and his friends up at gunpoint. They demanded that everyone hand over their cash and wallets. Electronics were also reportedly taken from the scene.
The apartment where the robbery happened is located in a condominium development called University Woods on Wolf Tech Lane in Raleigh, NC. The complex is reportedly located near the North Carolina State campus, where Scotty McCreery currently attends university.
