American Idol Season 11 alum Elise Testone has released the video for her single “I Will Not Break” just ahead of her debut album set to be released Feb. 11.
It’s kind of a weird song with way too many runs. She makes the one-syllable word “not” five syllables. That’s ridiculous. But the worst part of it all is the actual video for the song.
For some reason, Elise is canoeing in a dream-like swamp. And then she runs into the guy I think the song might be about. Also canoeing in the dream-like swamp. They kiss but then they seem to get mad at each other and both canoe their separate ways. I’m not even joking.
And even though she keeps saying she will not break, she randomly breaks a jug of wine. And then for some reason, the video ends with her slow-falling into a pool. This was seriously the most random and silly video I’ve seen in a long time. It’s like a complete parody.
I was a fan of Elise’s during Season 11, but I’m definitely not feeling this one. The video is below. Let us know what you think.
