Later this week on American Idol 2013, the winner of Season 7, David Cook, will return to the Idol stage to perform a single off his upcoming album release. The single, “Laying Me Low,” was released today and we have a preview listen for you below.
David’s appearance on American Idol 12 is a continuation of the season’s theme of bringing back its winners and shining stars perhaps in an attempt to remind viewers of his rich history of producing incredible talent.
Cook’s style should be an interesting contrast to the all female finalist group remaining on this season of American Idol 2013. We’ll have to keep wondering what sort of artist the winner will become and what level of success she’ll find.
