The American Idol 2012 finale is behind us so now it’s the time of year when the winner and finalists start working on their music careers. But for Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez, the media frenzy hasn’t died down just yet.
American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez kicked off her New York City tour this week and dropped by Live! With Kelly. Jessica talked to Kelly about her time on American Idol and what she sees in her future. She also took some time to perform her version of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” the performance that wowed fans during this season of American Idol.
Phillip is still preparing for his upcoming surgery so he hasn’t been as active as most newly-crowned Idol winners, but he did stop by Access Hollywood at the end of last week to perform “Home,” the winning song that has taken iTunes by storm.
