American Idol 2024 enters the final few weeks with more live performances. Tonight, we see the Top 12 perform. Then by the end of the two-hour broadcast, two more contestants are sent home. Then, in the next few weeks, more cutthroat cuts will take us into the single digits of contestants. American Idol 22 has been on speed mode as the finale quickly approaches. You can’t miss a single episode or your favorite may be cut. The votes matter more than ever at this stage of the competition.

Yesterday, America voted 12 finalists to the next round. This meant that two contestants were eliminated. Jordan Anthony and Nya were those unfortunate contestants to leave the competition. Both Jordan and Nya gave great performances last night. The talent is just so high this season that many great performers will be eliminated before we reach the finale. It’s not a complete surprise that Jordan and Nya were eliminated because they were at the bottom of the Top 14.

Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie saved them from leaving a few episodes ago. However, this does not necessarily mean that the other two who the judges saved will go tonight. It comes down to whether they can make this performance their best yet. We shall see how the Top 12 leave a lasting impression to continue to advance in American Idol.
