We are still reeling from Caleb Johnson singing “Still of the Night” by Whitesnake on American Idol 2014 tonight!
With his his performance of “Still of the Night” by Whitesnake, Caleb Johnson put any fears he has peaked too soon on American Idol to rest. We are still wow over his amazing vocals on this hard rock classic!
Caleb Johnson had American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban out of their seats after only a couple of lines of the song and literally headbanging at points! Harry Connick Jr., of course, doesn’t do standing ovations for anyone, but even he couldn’t help slip out a grin here and there while Caleb was rocking it out.
The audience was screaming so loud after Caleb Johnson’s Whitesnake performance that the American Idol 2014 judges couldn’t even be heard over them at first! Even Caleb’s fellow finalists couldn’t resist giving him a big standing ovation and huge applause.
Keith thought that was “awesome” and “killer” and he couldn’t even get a word in edgewise the crowd was so crazy. Crazy! Jennifer Lopez said that’s what you call “bringing down the house” and she loves that the band is so into it when he performs because they know they have a “real lead singer up there.” It was sickening and, again, crazy! Even Harry Connick Jr. gave the ultimate compliment and said you just “can’t sing that song any better than that!”
