American Idol winner David Cook returned to the stage last night on Season 12 for a live performance of his new single “Laying Me Low.”
The performance was also an opportunity for a reunion between David and judge Mariah Carey. Mariah was a mentor during his Season 7 where he ultimately went on to defeat challenger David Archuleta.
