Well, we’re guessing it will be from the Billboard 100, it could be Top 10 country, or gospel, or whatever. They seem to like to keep these things a little vague until the song list is finalized.

  1. And, per usual, they will all make dreadful choices from whatever crap songs TPTB have cleared. It seems to me that anyone planning to audition for Idol would have a clear plan of what is or isn’t in their wheelhouse regardless of genre. Yet, every year the contestants go over a cliff with song choices they wish they were capable of performing well. Few contestants have the range of an Adam Lambert not to mention the background in musical theater. Think twice people!

    • Agreed. Right now only Caleb has been able to pick the right songs of different style and right now is running away with it.

      • Uh, no. Girl needs a personality transplant. Do not like Jena at all. She can go home right after Majesty goes next.

      • Well,Jonathon…you are entitled to your opinion .Jena will be a top 4 finalist along with 3 guys. That is my opinion. It is really amusing how you can judge a person’s personality during this competition. You know nothing about Jena nor any of these contestants and their personalities.

      • You don’t know anything about Jena at all! She has an amazing personality and has being rocking it this whole competition.

      • I didn’t like his song this week, but he was one of the lucky ones, he was sent home early last year. Had Johnny Keyser been, he could be in this contest now.

      • Actually, Caleb wasn’t on the show last year. And Johnny COULD have tried out this year and probably would have made the top 20 this time around, but he didn’t.

      • Caleb did try out last year, I remember him. Johnny made it to
far last year, if he hadn’t and tried out he would have won this year.,

      • Isn’t this Caleb’s third (or more) attempt at getting on Idol? He tried out and was cut during the Casey/James Durbin year, that Scotty McCreery won. Really don’t like the repeat tryouts, Candice Glover was the same way. They finally figure out the formula, and then they get into the final mix.

      • Caleb was even invited by AI to audition last year.(didn’t have to wait in line like all the others)Note: even Lazaro made it along with subpar boys last year into the top ten, while Caleb got the boot early and was shown BOO hooing !

      • Caleb has been so busy showing off and screaming, that this week was the first time he sang. His face during the judges comments, and during the smackdown of Harry were very telling, he is so arrogant and full of himself. He sounded great this week, but we could not stand listening to his fake Jack Black/Meatloaf act up until now. Singing super loud doesn’t mean you are singing well, but several of them need to learn that this year. Caleb seems like a real jerk.

    • adam’s song choices were always perfect. his talent far outshone the other contestants. AND IT STILL DOES!! touring with queen!! rock on, you gorgeous creature!!
