Update: Top Idol is reporting that the coronation song is called “Ever Since Tomorrow”. This is not true.
Thanks to MJ we have some clues as to what Lee Dewyze is going to sing tonight for his three song choices. See if you can figure these out. If I get any info on Crystal I will post it here.
Song #1: “He is going to be put into a rink and fight it out or he doesn’t have to think outside the box for this song”
Song #2: “Everybody might hurt after this song.”
Song #3: “He might have an awful day.”
“The third song they are both singing. However it was not a song just written for them. It did play a big part in American Idols past.”
It is pretty obvious to me that the songs are “The Boxer”, “Everybody Hurts” and “Bad Day”. Of course it is just my opinion. Can you think of any others to go with these clues and what do you think of these song choices?
They will be redoing songs from a few weeks ago, then?
Is that a bit strange?

And ‘bad day’ is a lame thing to sing when you’re about to win American Idol – WTF??
I was thinking HURT by Johnny Cash could be that 2nd song.
Mrs. Doubtfire, he is gutturaling the Bower again. Can it get any worst? I don’t think the judges can pimp this one again and try to convince anyone it was great!

I agree that singing a song that they’ve already done this year isn’t the best way to go, but last year that was actually the category…the contestant had to sing their favorite performance song of the season a second time. They probably did the same this year. Think it was decided after David Cook chose not to sing a repeat song and David A did, as well as many of the past season contestants, and Simon thought David C made a bad choice at not reprising a song from the season. They have to choose from what they’re allowed, unfortunately.

I watched the show last night and Lee did not sing Bad Day he sang Beautiful Day

What a finale, all the acts were good but Crystal clobbered Lee last night. Just goes to show you what millions of little girl votes will do. Crystal was the better singer of the two both last night and tonight! I’m sure it won’t slow Crystal down at all. Go Crystal!!
