With just two weeks to go until the final showdown, American Idol 2009 has arrived at the Top 4 singers’ performance show. The rock ‘n roll theme will be great for these remaining contestants so I’m looking for awesome work on Tuesday night’s show. I don’t think we’ll be let down.

Slash will be mentoring the singers but only one can rise to the top. Who do you think will have the best week with Rock ‘n Roll? Vote in the poll below and share your thoughts with the other Idol fans.

Update: I was very sorry to hear about the death of David Cook’s brother after a difficult battle with brain cancer. Our prayers go out to David and his family.

Vote long and hard tommorw for Adam.For those that don’t know this danny will be getting votes from the worsters just to piss off the others.The folks over at vote for the worst hate danny and don’t really care if he stays or goes home but will help danny fans along the way.This could put Allison and Kris in big trouble.

    That makes it very hard. Allison is really a rocker, I think it is her week. We may all be in for a shock with this girl, can not believe she was in the top 2. Now with out Anoops fans, Lil’s fans and Matt’s fans, that adds extra votes toward someone.

    Danny gets my vote, he is great, but he wants it the most, you can tell. Adam is an idol allready!

  12. I listened to Danny last week, and every day since, as well as Allison. And I am also a fan of Adam’s, since the beginning. I do, however, wish he would talk it easy on the screaming also. This is the hardest AI yet. Tour tickets go on sale May 9 at 9:00 AM. The line forms behind me ~ LOL. Good luck to all the contestants, and blessings to David Cook and family.

  19. have apent all week thinking about what i would LOVE to hear adam do! i think all the remaining candidates are talented (tho chris’s voice is the most mundane, he’s just so cute). but the fact is adam is over the top — and I mean that in a GOOD way: exciting, charismatic, amazing voice, amazing ROCKER voice with those great high notes that people love to hate(AND he alone can dance!). here’s hoping slash helps him remind people what great rock sounds like (my fantacy: he sings “sweet child of mine” and slash accompanies him! not nuts, btw, i said it was a fantacy!).

  23. I think that Danny is going to take it the whole way for Maerican Idol this week. Adam has got great potential but he screams too much. I think he ought to rbing something new this week to avoid getting him in the bottom votes again.

  28. I’d like to start by saying, My thoughts and prayers are with David Cook, I know personally how painful it is to lose a loved one to cancer.

    As far as Idol…ITS ADAM ALL THE WAY..We all got to confident last week, we need to VOTE VOTE VOTE, until our fingers fall off. Not just once but as many times as we can. If others can play that game, so can we. I know it can be a pain, busy signals and all, But we owe Adam this much, While I respect the others and believe they will all have careers, Adam is a STAR. Not since Elvis, have I seen a performer such as Adam.We need to get together and make this the biggest LANDSLIDE in Idol history. If you have any doubts, go back watch his performances again, From Johnny Cash’s Ring Of Fire, to Mad World and everything in between. The country industry is backing him, I read a quote today that said, Johnny Cash would have been proud of the way Adam paid tribute to his song. He has sang everything from rock to beautiful ballads with raw emotion, you can feel him when he sings. He has had TWO standing OVATIONS, one from Simon Cowell, and one from Smokey Robinson, when Adam sang his song. Do we need more proof than this? He hasn’t let us down, Let’s no let him down. I personally will vote as many times as I am allowed, I encourage all Adam fans to do the same. GO ADAM, VOTE VOTE VOTE

  29. i will vote on someone who has the smartest appeal among contestants. he is someone who could even shatter records for most records/albums sold. not danny/kris/allison.

    all of them are likable and great singers, but adam is truly the artist worth of my expenses.

Adam is absolutely brilliant, and if this is rock and roll week, he should be the clear winner…..as for his “screaming”?…..nah, he just hits amazing high notes that give me goosebumps…..what a pro this guy is!!….I am usually not a fan of AI, too commercial and mainstream, and I have never bought a CD by any of the contestants, but I will be buying Adam’s CD, for sure!!!

  42. I agree with tartanrocker and Mary Anne – ADAM is the best we have seen – ever in AI history. I love it when people recognize that he is “not screaming”, but hitting incredibly high notes….. He has a talent that has truly mesmerized the world, just look at the comments, every day more people write about Adam than anyone else. He always gets the most votes in the polls, that is why the vote last week didn’t make sense. I did have the busy, busy, busy signal more than usual, which also doesn’t make sense. Let’s vote our fingers off tonight – I am sure he will be the best once again.

    His pure, beautiful, emotive voice and performance will be amazing on rock n’ roll week – can’t wait to hear his song choice.

  45. Everyone, do yourselves a favor and listen to the studio version of Feeling Good, especially the people who complain about his screaming. It is truly amazing. I listened to it on the Adam Lambert Official Fansite but I’m sure you can find it elsewhere. Adam posseses one of the best, if not the best, voice I’ve ever heard. Pay attention to the so-called screaming part. You’ll see what I mean.

  46. Danny will be the best if he chooses the right song. Allison will be second then Adam. The only reson I say Adam for 3rd because I think some people are getting annoyed with the screaming. Danny has a voice for anytype of music and should be the next American Idol.

This is a show for America to choose the next Idol not a show just to hear another opinion from a new judge. Get rid of the 4th judge so we can hear the talents of each contestant.

    Again, you have the right idea and know talent – I agree with you regarding ADAM and also Kris – my second choice also… As we agreed before, Danny is mediocre at best, he hits the notes, but does not have a good voice – no star quality, and although Allison is a rocker and will probably do well tonight, her raspy voice and poor diction should take her out of the competition. Alexis Grace was far better than Allison, what happened there is anybody’s guess….

    Adam is far and away the MOST AMAZING singer, and his personal life is just that – personal… I think he is a beautiful person and very in tune with his emotions and able to portray them in his performance.

  77. Well, It’s Idol time again.
    What a week this should be…ROCK and ROLL. As always, I’m sure ADAM will steal the show. This should be a good genre for Allison as well. As far as Danny and Kris, we’ll have to wait and see. I think Danny is more talented than Kris, I really think Kris is getting votes for the fact he’s cute; kind of like Sanjaya two seasons ago. Kris sings well, but nothing spectacular. A few people have said or are saying Adam screams, before you make that judgement, please check him out on Youtube, specifically his beautiful portrayal of Joshua in The Ten Commandments The Musical. Or Brigadoon, which was an amazing musical originally done by Gene Kelly. And if that doesn’t sway you, You might try, The Prayer, or Come Home, or the classic, Dust in The Wind. His versatility is unlimited, whether it be a rock song or a beautiful ballad, you feel his emotion, It’s like electric shock. I believe that ADAM is going to be a star, not just an artist, but a star. Please, everyone, VOTE VOTE VOTE, until your fingers fall off. Last week, we let Adam down. He hasn’t let us down, even once. So once again Please lets not let him down again. Let’s make this the biggest landslide in Idol History.     I totally agree with you, Alexis Grace should still be there.
    Yet for some unknown reason people put Lil Rounds and Megan Joy,
    before her. Megan Joys only talent was her looks, she had No rhythm and definitely NO singing ability.

  80. Adams only competiton is Allison, and I do believe that Allison could take the title. I am a huge Allison fan, have been since the beginning. But, I do have to agree with 95% of the comments here, that Adam is the best in this competion, im not a fan, but he is very talented. The problem lays with the fact that ALL of Adam fans have been since the beginning, the fans of matt and lil and anoop will go somewhere else, and most likely they will go towards allison or chris. I heard, that last weeks votes, Allison had the most votes. Dont know how the public would know that, but so i heard. So the votes are apparently going her way! With the talent of Adam, if people havent voted him this whole time, they probably wont. Just my opinion. My roomate was an Anoop fan and is now going for Allison. Danny is good but not good enough, hes just getting sympathy votes. Adam and Allison are the best in the competion now and it should be an Allsion and Adam showdown. They won’t send Adam home because they have enough sense to know, if Adam goes home, they will have no one to watch the next 3 shows..So even if they are going to give it to someone else, Adam will have to be in the top 2..so people will watch until the last show..Then they can give it to whoever but it will not matter because Adam will be the big star that comes out of this season…

I have watched AI all 8 seasons and Adam is the best over all performer that has ever been on…Previously I thought the votes were legitimate, although I wondered when Taylor Hicks won…After putting Adam in the bottom 2 or 3 last week, we all know it is rigged, so now we know they give it to whomever they please…Still I’m going to vote, vote, vote for Adam, then if they give it to someone else, we all will know it is rigged and I will never watch American Idol again..

Danny has many mediocre performances, his voters have been tone deaf or has blindly voted for him out of sympathy and for sob story to further his own personal agenda. This week is his WORST one, phew…my friends from all over the world were really shocked to know that this is really American Idol (after hearing Danny screamed). Can we allow a karaoke singer to win? Or should American Idol be renamed as “Vote for the Worst” when Danny wins or should really win? Or just go down in History as a Sick Joke for making Danny the winner. He fits the epitome of a “vote for the worst” champion among other VFTW winners.

  115. Yesterday Adam´s haters where mentioning over an over that they hated when Adam showed his tongue and screamed. Last night we could see Gokey´s tongue too and IT SOUNDED AWFUL. So is not about the tongue that is gross, is the sound that comes out through it. Gokey, last night you were an Adam Lambert wanna be without success, that was a BIG MISTAKE, that league is not for you.   117. Hi you all! Franco here from the Galapagos islands again. I must tell you we are still half smashed from the party we had last night after the show. Adam really outdid himself this time with the Zeppelin tune. He took us back to the 60’s, so my friends and I started playing rock tunes from that era and drinkin’ jungle juice and the only thing I remember is waking up in the beach surrounded by turtles, don’t ask!.   119. Kris Allen is the best all around. No, maybe he isnt that great at rock n roll, but only some people are. Adam and Allison are just like every other emo kid these days. Why cant our next idol be someone normal? Someone who lives and breathes music as Kris does. Not only is Kris a great singer, but he is a Christian, and would be a wonderful role model for kids. I mean who wants their kid to be like Adam…a freak? Yes Adam may have done great last night, but he sucked when he performed Johnny Cash.   123. It’s a tough game out there and though Danny has entertained us and avoided bottom three, he will most certainly be in the bottom after last night’s performance. Kris is an artist through and through. He stays true to himself on each and every show. I just think Danny (and I do love Danny too – he’s a remarkable vocalist) is not an artist – period. Adam is an artist and Allison is gifted with talent and will grow into her artistry. As sad as i am to see anymore idols leave the show, in all fairness, even though Danny has been going strong, after last night, he really should be the one leaving. Sad but true in my humblest opinion.

  128. I love Adam’s presence but yeah his vocals might get a bit much after a while. But I’m sad Allison is gone. That was just wrong. Whereas i was always happy to hear Danny sing each week, he’s now gotten boring and last night was simply frightening. I still say Kris has the whole package to be the next idol.

  131. It was sad to see Allison leave last night, she is an exceptional singer, and I would definately buy her CD. I am ecstatic that Danny was put through. He is my favorite. In my opinnion, Kris should have been the one to leave, not Allison. I don’t like to watch Kris sing. He makes funny distorted faces, and is down right boring to hear and watch.

  133. Here is the thing though! If Alison didn’t go this week she would have next week. Kris will be the next to go, although I wish it were Adam. I have to defend Kris though with his facial expressions. That is something he cannot help and noone should be criticizing him for that. Adam has craters all over his face, wears makeup, black nailpolish, black earrings, and dressed strangely and I don’t hear talk about that. The bottom line is you won’t see Kris’s face on a CD. His voice is good and that is what matters. But you will, and I repeat will, hear Adam’s intense screaming. No he doesn’t hit high notes well, he screams. As far as Danny’s bad note, so he was out of his element in a rock song and hit a bad note. Adam has had so many bad notes with his screaming I lost count after his 1st performance.

  138. I disagree that Adam sings bad notes. He is on key 99.9% of the time. I wonder how many times Stephen Tyler (love him BTW) had to hit some bad notes before mastering his notes. Adam has one chance per week to get them right and he does! And I don’t care about makeup or twisted faces or whatever makes them feel good about themselves… as long as they sing well. And to be fair to Danny (who I truly do enjoy) he was a darn good sport about his bad note. Just hope he doesn’t do that again ha ha.

  140. I really didn’t see any anger gianna. He said he laughed at himself all night- maybe it was covering for his anger, who knows. We all gotta laugh at ourselves sometimes. I think the win is Adam’s unless he really messes up, which is unlikely with his performances so far. He’s truly comfortable with himself and the stage. However I still feel Kris could surprize us. There’s just something about him that is true and genuine.

  141. There wasn’t any anger from Danny! He agreed with Simon on the results show that it sounded awful. He said he laughed all night about it. So I am not sure what you were watching. Danny does have total confidence also. What show are you watching? He has a very gifted sexy voice that ranges from low to high. I hope and pray it comes down to Danny and Kris.
