The American Idol 2014 audition process came to a close Thursday night in Omaha and several more standouts were found and sent on to Hollywood.
Among those lucky hopefuls was Tessa Kate. Her version of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” wowed the judges and got her that golden ticket to Hollywood. And now some early fans of hers are asking how far she makes it on American Idol 2014.
Tessa’s unique sound reminded the judges of classic country stars and I agreed. I heard some Dolly Parton in her, so I was excited when she made it though to the next round. But my excitement stopped there because according to our American Idol 2014 spoilers, Tessa Kate does not make it into the Top 31. That means she will not get to sing for America’s votes.
But who knows, maybe we’ll see her again next year. What did you think of Tessa? Are you bummed she doesn’t make it in the Top 31?

Tessa Kate Auditions on American Idol 2014
Are you kidding me? Tessa’s audition was the best of those televised this season. She is a sincere and genuine artist/ musician who isn’t trying to become a singer; she was born one. I was taken aback at how much she sounded like a young Dolly Parton…a true songbird.
I can’t believe she didn’t make the top 31! She was one of the top 5 auditions the televised, this season. I swear I’m going to stop watching this show.
