Last week on American Idol 2009 Allison Iraheta was eliminated from the Top 4. I wasn’t terribly surprised as I thought her Tuesday night performance was bad, but many thought Gokey had screamed his way to worse. Ah well, now we’re stuck with a boys-only Top 3.
The Idol theme this week will be a little more open with each of the remaining three singers performing two singers. One song will be selected by the judges and the other song will be hand selected by the singers themselves. Any guesses on which genre these guys will go?
On Wednesday night’s Idol results show Katy Perry will perform “Waking up in Vegas,” the single from her debut album, “One of the Boys,” and Jordin Sparks, former American Idol, will return to perform her new single, “Battlefield.”

I guess everyone was surprised except you that Allison was let go. She did not sing bad at all on Tuesday. The word shock is everywhere regarding Allison leaving before Kris and Danny. These two even accepted the fact that they where horrible that Tuesday night. Danny even said it on the air and Kris was so shocked that he was safe because he knew Allison and Adam were the best. This whole thing turned out to be unfair but I guess America went for less talent, instead they voted for a cute face (Kris) cute? Allison is proud of herself. She gave it all and proved her talent AMAZING. I KNOW THE OTHER TWO WILL BE LEAVING ALSO BECAUSE THE ONLY ONE WHO IS SO TALENTED AS ALLISON IS ADAM but in the finals it should have been A and A
It’s Danny for the win! Adam and Kris are very good but Danny is the entire package – talent, personality and looks.

Look what hapenned to Allison. Danny’s performance was worse than terrible, He truly showed what a scream is, somewhere between a horror flick and a cat fight. Even Danny said, It was so bad, his aunt muted it, and that when he watched he couldn’t stop laughing, One of the worst performances on Idol this year, and he thought it was humorous? Excuse me, Allison was eliminated while you thought giving that bad a performance was”funny”. At least Kris is humble, which is more than I can say for Gokey. So, all Adam supporters, I say once again, VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE, and keep on voting until the lines close. And Allison voters, Let’s band together and send Gokey home where he should have been, instead of Allison. We can’t let up, and we can’t let Adam down. We need to make this the LANDSLIDE it should be. The final should come down to Adam and Chris, With Adam the next American Idol. It’s time for Mr. Ego…Danny Gokey to go home. Did anybody else notice Gokey, giving himself applause, after that monstous performance?

Adam is a Winner, weather he wins A.I. or not, We will be hearing Adam and seeing Adam long after A.I. is over.In my opinion he is the best I.A. ever had in all the 8 seasons.

This is not a popularity contest…I like all 3 contestants..However this is a talent contest and we all should vote for the one with the most talent..That,of course,would be Adam..He has it all and is so versatile..I like the others but they do not have the talent that Adam has..All you Adam lovers must vote Adam!!!

I have to admit that Adam is favourite with great presence BUT he is a rocker and how many really successful solo rocker artistes is out there? his appeal is to people who appreciate the ‘rock genre’ and he will have to be with a band
Danny Gokey on the other hand will appeal to a wider base of music lovers and i personally feel that a good ‘mellow sound’ will have more ‘legs’ and a longer shelf life

Danny is good, Kris is good, but consistantly Adam is the best. He has not made mistakes he is not boring, he hits his notes, he’s in tune and the the best vocals. Honestly, Kris got the best judges’ choice with “Apologize” by One Republic and Adam got a good one with U2s “One”, but I’m afraid Paula screwed Danny with some studpid “Dance Little Sister song. Kris and Danny have to be flawless to beat each other out..and Kris already has a leg up just by the one of the song choices…..so here’s hoping a Kris/Adam finale…go Kris!!

It is really hard, all three guys deserve to win!!! They are all talented & have great voices……. They were my favourites from the start, so who will go and who will stay……?? Adam will definitely stay, no argument there. It is really tough…. Chris is more musically talented than Danny but Danny has a great voice …….. One cannot compare Adam with Danny and Kris. He is in a league of his own and therefore it does not matter if he wins or not. He has already made it. Danny and Kris should be the final 2 as this is why we can see the real competition. To pitch Adam against either one of them is like asking Paula Abdul to pair up with Simon in Aancing with the Stars!

Allison should have stayed. Between her and Kris, she has the better voice. The ones with the really good voices are Danny Gokey (my favorite soulful singer who I think should win since he has the best voice!!!, Adam Lambert who is also a good singer but not my style, though he is good, entertaining and exciting and Allison who at 17 can really belt out a tune. Kris, he is not in Alan and Danny’s league. But, he’s good looking, and that’s what America votes for… otherwise, he should have gone. I would be angry if Danny gets voted out over Kris. Geez, no match at all. Danny’s got a really great voice. And he’s also very charming and cute! It should be a contest between Adam and Danny! Kris is an “okey” singer, he’s good as a “packaged” artist as Kara always says, but let’s face it, voice per voice, it should be between Danny and Adam. And of course I love Simon Cowell! Best judge ever! I love Paula better this year because she’s come into her own opinions. Kara’s presence helped Paula develop more identity and not just parroting Simon and Randy’s comments. Kara, not too crazy about her. There’s something not likeable about her, cant quite put a finger to it, but she’s pretty. Just like Paula better than Kara. Paula has more confidence in the way she presents herself. But hey, am a Simon Cowell fan, and I love Danny Gokey. Too bad I’m in the Philippines and I can’t vote!

We just got back from our vacation to Phuket and really wish that we didn’t have to leave as we really enjoyed it and will unquestionably come again! We stayed at Nirvana Thai which I would certainly recommend. We hired a motorbike at $70 for 11 days, it was by far the cheapest and a convienent way to go and it was alot of fun as well! The National Park is definitely worth while taking a tour. Also eating places in Phuket Town to visit are Thai Food Heaven-romantic, delish and trendy. Book a table with your feet in the pool!
