American Idol 2010: First Look Audition Pics
Only one more week until the American Idol 2010 premiere on Tuesday, January 12th at 8pm with a 2-hour launch. Meanwhile you can get a preview of the action with a set of audition photos from the new season.
Small Screen Scoop scored some sweet pics of the brave singers who ventured out for Paula-less auditions rounds. You can see the full set of audition pics over here.

I am glad that simone is leaving he is thye worst but good in a way i think they are all good but i want Alison or Emma to win!

I am glad to hear paula is leaving the show and sad to see Simon is leaving after this season, I know he can be hard at times but these kids need to be prepared for the world, and its no picnic. He is giving them the honest truth.So lets give him a break.

Simon … was aenglish music executive , television producer.
Randy … a musician, record producer and music manager.
Kara the same as Randy .
Paula … pop singer, record producer, dancer,actress, and choreorgerpher.
Ellen is a talk show host. stand up comedian…
At what point will she know to tell the future Idol that was pitchie, off key ,or any of that type of words when she can not hold a tune in a bucket and has no MUSIC background….
American Idol is looking for the next Best young Singer Not the next Stand up Comedian or another Jerry Springer…

Very sad to hear Simon is leaving next year hopefully that changes. I thought Paula couldn’t be replaced but I’m looking forward to Ellen. Cant wait till tuesday.

Will Simon’s show X-Factor be competing against American Idol. I hope not I love boh of them. Are the X-Factor competiters going to be from the U.S.A. or Britain?

As real fans of IDOL it is sad to discontinue watching. Ellen is the worst selection you could have made as a judge. So I have chosen to discontinue the neighborhood Idol Parties. I will not sponsor gatherings where her open gay lifestyle could be a focus. So much for the Family Show.

I HAVE TO SAY THAT OBVIOUSLY SHE WON’T BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ELSE THAN TRY TO MAKE JOKES AND FUN AT THE CONTESTANTS, SHE CAN’T EVEN DANCE AT ALL !
THE SHOW WON’T BE THE SAME WITH HER.

I hate to say this but it was time for Paula to leave the show and get some help for her obviouse problem.If Ellen wants to take part in the show I think she will do a fine job and we should give her a chance before passing judgement.

Checking in to see if anyone knows the name and singer of the song Dee Dee was singing during Hollywood week (the one that aired 9 Feb). I have never heard of it but love it. Please help

I HAVE NOT SEEN THE AUDITION YET, BECAUSE THE CABLE TV PRESENTS AMERICAN IDOL ONLY ON SATURDAYS HERE, IN GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR, BUT I FOUND THIS SONG THAT MAYBE IS “THE ONE” YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

Has anyone but myself ever noticed how Kara never says anything until she looks at the other judges first to see which way they’re going and then jumps on their bandwagon? I think this makes her a very weak judge and I’d like for her to develop more of a backbone, step up to the plate and give HER opinion instead of just echoing what someone else has said or what she thinks they’re going to say. What she does is not judging but merely being an echo. Is she so insecure that she needs the approval of the rest of the judges?
And while I’m at it, I wish the group round would be eliminated altogether. Many times good voices are ousted because the group as a whole is not good. And example this season was the young man from Texas who spent some time in prison. Can’t remember his name but he was a fine singer in the first audition. I hope he will take heart and come back next season. He has melody, presence and a very fine voice which all put together equal quality.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT THE GROUPS. THIS IS NOT A FAIR WAY TO ELIMINATE ANY CONTESTANT, BECAUSE THIS CONTEST IS NOT FOR GROUPS.
MAYBE THE SONG IS NOT GOOD FOR ALL OR MANY OTHER REASONS, SO MEMBERS OF AI, PLEASE THINK A LITTLE.
SOME REAL GOOD SINGERS WILL BE REJECTED WITHOUT A GOOD REASON.
