This week is your final chance to audition for the American Idol 2013 season as FOX has reopened online submissions to be part of the upcoming twelfth season.
Seemingly disappointed with the turn out of talent at this summer’s open audition events the producers have brought back the online opportunity to submit a performance for their consideration. Here’s what Idol had to say:
From Friday, Oct. 12 through Sunday, Nov. 4, hopefuls can submit an audition video online. Entrants should demonstrate their stellar singing ability by performing a song of their choice a cappella.
Videos are limited to one submission per person. Please visit auditions.americanidol.com for submission rules and terms and conditions.
The cutoff for this new round of online auditions is Sunday, November 4th which means this is your final week to submit. Do not wait!
If you already submitted an audition through the online process then I wouldn’t do it again but if you had missed your chance then it looks like this is a big opportunity for you to get in on the action.
The new American Idol season premieres in less than three months so these are some last minute auditions, but let’s hope FOX can use this to find the talent they seem to have missed over the summer.
I already auditioned online before but I haven’t heard back. When can I expect to hear something?
I’m not sure of the timelines for hearing back, but if you applied then I’m sure they reviewed your application. Sit tight and wait. Best of luck.
