“American Idol” Season 10 contestant Casey Abrams has signed a recording contract with Concord Music Group. His debut album is set to be released in early summer 2012.
“Casey Abrams’ talent is deep and untapped,” said Concord Music Group CCO John Burk. “We’re excited to work with Casey and 19 Entertainment on fulfilling his great promise.”
Abrams who wowed fans with his jazzy “old-soul” style and musical ability, has reportedly been writing songs for the album since his time with Idol.
Well, if Michael Buble can make a bundle, why not Casey? Good luck to him.
mazel tov!
Excellent news. He’s aces (and should have been signed before now!)
maybe this will help Haley work ALONE now to produce an album!!!
She has already recorded it. Now I’m just dying to listen her first single!
Congratulations Casey, you are a REAL star, not like some others.
I wonder what type of music Casey will be recording? I know he likes jazz but his talent expands such a wide variety. I hope he tames the beast and doesn’t growl so much…it’s cool sometimes but he sorta over did it on AI…Good luck Casey you made Idyllwild proud…
Congratulations to Casey. I’m guessing the duet he and Haley recorded (Baby, It’s Cold Outside) helped convince the music industry that Casey can sell records! Mazel tov, indeed!
I am so happy for Casey. If he sticks to jazz, he is going to do just fine…..I know I will buy his CD. I loved it when he did jazz numbers….Good Luck Casey!!!!!
