I agree about splitting Paula and Simon up. Their coloring antics tonight were too much. Pretty soon its no longer going to be American Idol, because this year, more than any years before, the judges are determining who is going to win with their remarks and their antics. It should be renamed “Judges Idol”

Hate to say this,but…I think we’re going to suffer through another week of Megan!I think that Scott will go home-I think he’s a superb pianist,but his vocals just aren’t strong enough to make it.Megan is going to be like that indian guy thy had on-Sanjaya,who was goofy(and actually had talent,but just was real extreme and picked horrific songs)LiL ALSO

Allison had the best performance last night. Adam was brilliant and although I think Lil has great vocals, there was too much screaming in her performance. I still feel Adam, Allison and Lil are the top three.

Meagan and Micheal. I did not like there performance at all. They are just too boring. Meagan is an beautiful girl and has a good singing voice but boring and always bouncing awkwardly like she is on HeeHaww show. Micheal needs to go home and just keep singing in his home town bar on Karaoke night. He’s charming can sing. Also boring. I also was displeased with Lil’s perfomance last night. But she still has a good chance to be in top 3. Adam is so talented and really knows how to put on a show. Danny is really been bringing it on with good song choices and perfomances along with my favorite Allison who has been just awsome in son choice and perfomance. The rest not so sure. They kinda swing back and forth with some improvements with Matt and Chris. consistent. Overall they all have been a good group this year.
I agree that it really is a pretty good group this year. My bottom three are Megan, Michael, and Scott and I really, really hope Megan goes home. My top three are Adam, Danny, and Matt with Allison as a very close fourth. I’m just liking the guys a whole lot better than the girls this year and was happy that they didn’t try to even it up between boy/girl this year since the girls are so weak. I do think Kris is one to watch. Overall, it’s a pretty good season this year!
Opinions seem to be ageeing around Adam, Allison and Matt for top three. I agree, but Matt has no charima…too bad. For those who do not like Adam.. try listening to some of his Youtube perfomances. He sings ” The Prayer” with a soprano in great voice…not falsetto.He is the best male singer ever on Idol .
this is the worst group american idol ever had!!!REALLY AVERAGE!!!!!Megan went wrong last night.. but she is TRULY an original! not like boring and predictable anoop, gokey and lil. Allison ALWAYS YELLING!!! MATT IS LIKE A COLD FISH ON THE SCENARIO. Adam and Kris were the only worth watching. REALLY! A VERY SAD GROUP OF NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN.

I’m really curious about the fascination surrounding Matt and Kris. I can barely sit through a performance from either of them. If it were a “cute” contest, I might understand the Kris factor, but it isn’t. Also, I have to switch the channel when that awful Michael heehaws. Flip side, I look forward to Adam and Danny every time. Allison is good too, but she is too one-dimensional for my tastes. Lil blew it last night. I’m looking forward to Megan going away ASAP! Poor Scott and Anoop are out of their league.
I’ve liked Matt since Hollywood week. I find him very appealing and love his sound. Don’t understand the “boring” part where he is concerned, but obviously it comes down to a matter of preference and taste. I do agree that neither Matt nor Kris probably stand a chance to win. I even agree that they probably shouldn’t, though I must say that I do enjoy listening to Matt sing! I really feel that, for the first time, most of the contestants this season can at least SING. It doesn’t mean they all deserve to win or even have the performance component, but at least they can, with the exception of Megan (in my opinion), sing pretty well. If it were up to me, I’d send Megan home this week, probably Michael next week, and Scott the week after that. Once those three are gone, I’m going to feel like it’s a pretty good competition. I’d like to see the top three be Danny, Adam, and Matt.
I agree with Sahara. I too am getting to the point where I will stop watching unless Simon and Paula cut out their childish antics. It is apparant the show has caused both of them to feel “bigger than life” and have a air of self-importance that perhaps causes them to believe they are the stars of the show.
The producer(s) need to have a talk with them or move Paula to sit next to Randy.
My vote for removal this week is Michael. Adam looked like a professional with his “clean” look this week. What a person should look like when having a job interview — which is what all of them do every week.
I truely believe Adam is phenomenal. I try to think who he is like and the comparisons I come up with are Elvis, Michael Jackson, Jagger,Elton John, Chuck Berry … performers that were innovative and were either loved or criticized for the direction they took with music. He is almost too good to be in the competition.
All of the contestants are extremely talented and I will be sad to see them eliminated.
And yes, it is enough with Paula and Simon. Their behavior during the performances is rude and they should be separated just as they would be if they behaved that way in a sixth grade classroom.
I agree Adam did a great job last night. Danny is my pick he can sing great. Yes he acts cute, but Adam also acts cute and could no doubt sing like Elvis. Megan has a great voice and is very pretty, but looks isn’t what it’s all about.
The top three (by a mile) are: Danny, Lil Rounds and Adam. They are fantastic though, even with the weakest two: Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre. They both should have gone a long time ago. Scott continues to get the “sympathy” vote. He is very monotonous and has boring vocals
I failed to mention that ANOOP was OVER THE TOP FANTASTIC!!! I ALSO THOUGHT THAT MATT WAS PHENOMENAL!!! WAY TO GO GUYS!!!! All but Scott and Michael are extremely great and very talented. They will all go very far in their music careers – no doubt
So many were great last night! Adam looked and sounded fantastic. I think Danny’s preformance really made you want to get up and dance….true Motown! Allison was terrific! All the boys were good. Megan was horrible! and Lil’s was just ok.
I think that Megan should go home. ALL the guys were good!!! I do think that Micheal could still pull it off and deserves a chance!!! Adam is in the lead!!
Could we please vote some judges off? Paula and Simon, enough already. Lets put this spotlight back on the contestants and not your childish play. There are about 4 top notch contestants that really have what it takes. Megan, Michael or Scott gone tonight.

allison and lil have a good voice but none of them are originals!! both of them always sound the same…I prefer Megan to stay more weeks… she is at least not predictable!! but Scott and Sarver..please…!! Matt a Gokey have no angel–Kris has a very unique sound of voice but lacks personality. Anoop is the wedding singer..and Adam the true entertainer. He is the only one have a good time and saving this year show of being just a big yawn…
I am just beside myself that Simon sits there and comments on what the contestants are wearing when he can’t show up in anything more than a frickin’ t-shirt from Hanes…probably a designer t-shirt but Jo-Blow America doesn’t know that….looks like he hopped out of bed or the shower and showed up…..I have just had enough of him….I don’t want to watch anymore….

Well, I pretty much knew that Megan would still be there because the judges like her so much, but to not put her in the bottom three? That seems suspicious to me since just about every blog and discussion on the internet, not to mention a call-in radio show had her listed as the favorite to go home. But, I’ve been highly suspicious of the “voting” for a long time. At any rate, I was sad to see Michael go home, not because I don’t feel like he deserved to go – he did – but I liked him as a person and it always makes me sad when they go. They did a really nice closer for him.
It is time for Megan and all her tattoes to go home. I don’t think Simon should have voted Michael off if there was not a consesus. I am tired of the Simon/Paula antics. Maybe they should just watch the show from a motel. Lets not forget ANOOP. He is AWESOME. Go Anoop. You can be an American Idol!!!!

Adam by far! He brings a different kind of flavor to the songs he does. I know even if he doesn’t win he will have a record deal.

Did anyone else notice Glambert’s glaring pitch problems last night, something not one of the judges commented on. For me, these were the two worst performances he’s had. Favoritism? Ooooh, what an ugly word!!! And Gokey — Paula sunk him (another sign of favoritism?) and if he had done the original version of Joe Cocker’s song, he would have been told it was Karaoke, and he didn’t make the song his own. There is no winning sometimes. Kris did okay — boring, but okay.
Personally, I think this is the best season yet – anything but boring!! All three of these guys are fantastic singers. I think Adam has “star” written all over him, and Danny has been my favorite since the very beginning – but watch out for Kris! He was exceptional last night on his 2nd song. Same for Danny who gave an incredibly moving performance. It’s going to be a nail biter tonight, no matter how it turns out! I think Adam is a given, and my own preference would be for Danny to be in the finale. But if Kris makes it, I really can’t be that unhappy. I think he deserves to be there, too. At any rate, I really am enjoying the show this season!
