Loved Shelby Dressel…amazing voice and did not over act was just herself!! Loved it!
The guy who robbed a bank w/a bb gun…very REAL! very likeable, future country music star.
I loved the girl with the crooked mouth! She could sing and was cute. Good for her for having the guts to get up there. She was probably picked on a lot as a kid and now she is going to Hollywood!
I love the underdog, and loved the “tweaking” guy getting arrested! *LOL*

I was a bit upset with that handcuffing incident. I think they exaggerated or overdid it. Cmon..one guy against those securities? I dont think he could do anything beyond badmouthing AI! If i were that guy, i will try legal options against the show’s producers unless they apologize. That was totally uncool even if the man acted weird, they could just throw him out without handcuffing him. But, if he did something obscene which wasnt shown on TV, then he deserved it. Whaddayathink???
I think it was over the top too, unless there was conduct that was not shown. As for him taking legal action, go have a look at the waiver you have to sign!! It is so full of legal mumbo jumbo that my eyes crossed!!!! I hope they just let him go after, although I suspect he was under the influence of something but how did he even survive Amway arena to get to the next part! See my discussion on the boards if you don’t understand what I mean by that.

I have watched Idol since season 1. I am very sorry to hear that Simon will not be returning. I love hearing his thoughts and more often than not, agree! In the spirit of Simon’s honest commentary – what about Gene Simmons as a replacement?!

I WAS EXTRMELY UPSET WITH THE VIEWING OF THE HANDCUFFED CONTESTANT ON TV. THAT IS SOMEONES CHILD WHO IS DEALING WITH A POSSIBLE MENTAL ILLNESS AND THERE WAS NO NEED TO SHOW IT. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES AND APOLOGIZE TO ALL THE VIEWERS OR BETTER SCREEN WHAT YOU PUT ON TV. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR IT TO BE AIRED. THE ONLY GOOD THAT CAN OUT WOULD BE THAT SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR THERE LOST CHILD AND SEES IT.AGAIN THERE WAS NO NEED TO DO THAT

Last night was pretty good considering the few bad and crazy ones.I LOVE the way Simon rolls his eyes at some of the singers.I think there were three that stood out from the rest, Jay Stone, Matthew Lawrence,and Jermaine Purifoy. They are the ones to watch.When someone is asked to leave and they don’t they need to be taken out. How do we know what happened before they showed him being handcuffed ???? I’m talking about Jarrod Norrell. I believe that Cornelius Edwards intensely cut or ripped his pants a little so when he went down it caused them to rip further…that is what I call drama.
Matt, I’m going to have to agree with your wife on this one. There is also speculation that the girl in the blue dress, bernadette, has made the top 24 due to her deactivating her facebook and myspace accounts.
Yeah, deactivating accounts seems to be a giveaway these days. Good for her.

I fear that there will NEVER be another contestant as totally talented as Adam Lambert.
I detest seeing him in the really wild and ugly shows that he sometimes does. He is SO VERY talented that he does not need to do that type of entertainment. And he should NOT flaunt his gayness. Be gay, but don’t rub it in every body’s face for crying out loud! He still should have won last year. I haven’t really seen any good ones this year thus far.
Well here was another night of drama.The best ones were Andrew Garcia, Mary Powers,Tasha Layton and of course my favorite Chris Golightly.The worst was Jason Greene, the way he came unto Simon OMG !!!!! Than there was A.J. Mendoza, I can not believe that Adam Lambert heard him sing and supposedly told him he was good !!!! No way.

It sucks that Jennifer Lopez couldn't get to American Idol. It would have been completely awesome if she could have gotten there. Well perhaps she can get there next season.
