American Idol 2018: Where To Follow Brandon Elder

The American Idol 2018 Top 50 was revealed last night as they move on to compete for spots in the Top 24, and during all the madness of Hollywood Week, we (meaning you and I) lost some of our favorite contestants.

One of those was standout Brandon Elder, who wowed judges, us and viewers with his audition during the first week of the season. We have people Googling “Did Brandon Elder make it through Hollywood Week,” so we felt like we should answer it. It’s a no. But we also thought, since he has so many fans out there, we should help you find him on social media to keep up with him and his music.

For anyone needing a refresher, Brandon’s audition was featured on episode 4 where he performed an original song about his mother called “Gone.”

We were so impressed with Brandon’s audition, especially for someone who has only been performing for a short time time, the 22-year-old from Alabama topped out Best Auditions of the Week post that week.

Brandon of course moved onto Hollywood Week, where we got a glimpse of him during the solo rounds. He made it on to the group rounds, but that was the last we saw of him. He wasn’t shown getting cut, but we have since found out he did. He is not a part of the Top 50 and we are bummed.

So if you’re anything like us, you want to keep up with Brandon and his music.

You can follow him on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. He also has several songs on his own YouTube and Fuego Studios YouTube. You can check out his YouTube but we’ve also posted some of his performances below for you (including a great rendition of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” in the style of Callum Scott from “Britain’s Got Talent.”

Brandon has also released his audition song “Gone” as a single. It’s available on CD Baby.
