Former American Idol star and Dancing With the Stars winner Kellie Pickler has a new gig in some very prestigious company! The American Idol season 5 finalist will be guest-starring on the Nashville TV show this week with First Lady Michelle Obama.
Kellie Pickler, the country cutie of American Idol season 5, and the winner of Dancing With the Stars season 16, is not just a gorgeous lady and an amazing singer. She’s also shown she can dance the shoes off a host of other celebrities, and she’s not bad in front of the cameras either!
Although she’s still busy out there promoting her new album The Woman I Am, released last November, Kellie isn’t above taking a bit of time out for another TV gig when it comes along. This time, she’ll be popping up on the latest episode of Nashville, airing on Wednesday, May 7 at 10PM ET.
We don’t know what role Kellie will be playing on the show, but we suspect she’s just going to be appearing as herself. Rayna (Connie Britton) is throwing a charity concert and we are betting Carrie will be one of the performers, or at least a guest. We hope we actually get to hear her sing!
There will be quite a few other guest stars for the show, which you can see a list of below, but the other name that caught our attention big time was First Lady Michelle Obama as herself. Now that is a scene we can’t wait to see. Especially if someone how we get Kellie and the First Lady all in one fun bit!
