Tonight on American Idol 2016 for the very last time we’ll see finalists face off and perform in hopes of your support as the series comes to a close with this two-night event.
Update: Results are in and we know who was voted off Idol tonight.
Starting at 8/7c on FOX we’ll have a one-hour performance show featuring Dalton Rapattoni, La’Porsha Renae, and Trent Harmon as each have prepared for the night and will perform their entire song list. Once the performances are done the lights will be dimmed and Ryan Seacrest will announce who was voted off this week.
From there voting will commence between the other two finalists and you’ll have just a short time to support your favorites because then on Thursday night the season and the series ends when one of the Top 2 is revealed to be the season’s winner.
With a shorter performance show tonight there won’t be time for special guest performers. Instead you can expect plenty of that to come through on Thursday’s show. This will just be our Top 3 killing it on stage as they’ve worked all season for the chance to do.
