Ah, the coveted Top 10 of American Idol is finally here. Tonight’s performance will be your preview of what the summer American Idol 2010 Tour will look like so let’s hope you like it! Okay, it probably won’t give you the best idea since the singers will be locked in to performing a R&B hit under guest mentor Usher’s guidance, but it’ll be close enough. I can’t wait to see what Tim Urbaya, the new Sanjaya, butchers tonight! Anyone want to guess?

This week can only be an improvement after last week’s performances. Usher should do well, because not only can he sing but a great performer. OMG OMG I get to see who this Justin Bieber person is who my niece is going crazy about.
I hope Crystal show us something different..like singing without the guitar.
And Sanjaya will sure not disappoint.
Why do so many people think Tim Urban is bad? He actually has a very nice voice and he is always in tune. He might not have a lot of energy on stage, but that doesn’t make him horrible.
Bryan, it is people like you why tim urban is still on idol. He is terrible and does not perform well.
@Bryan: I’d agree that it’s not his energy on stage that makes for a bad performance, it’s his poor singing. I know everyone has his or her favorite performer in the bunch, so I’m not trying to be insulting to those who prefer him, but he’s really not good.

GIVE TIM A BREAK…..ITS JMO BUT I FEEL HE SINGS BETTER THAN ANDREW…..CLOSE YOUR EYES AND JUST LISTEN TO THE TWO OF THEM. NEITHER OF THEM WILL WIN THIS AND BOTH SHOULD BE GONE SOON BUT THEY DID MAKE IT TO THE TOP TEN SO THEY HAVE A FAN BASE SOMEWHERE IN THIS COUNTRY…..
TONIGHT R&B SHOULD BE VERY INTERESTING…….I’M STILL STICKING WITH SIOBHAN, CRYSTAL AND LEE AS THE TOP 3…..
I don’t think R&B is suitable for everyone so tonight should be a great night for Mike, Siobhan, Lee and Andrew as their styles match with R&B. The rest I want to see, specially Crystal as she is much more a rock singer. I still have faith in Andrew but I know he wont win this competition I just want him to do well. Did you all watched Paige singing on the David Letterman show? What a change!!! she did really good, how different attitude from her now she is gone!
Yeah Paige did awesome last night on the show. But I think the next persont o go on AI is Tim Urban or Andrew. I love Andrew but I know a lot of people dont. I hope Katie Stevens makes it into the top 3. She is a great singer, but I wish she would pick better songs!!
I agree with Katie, I love Katie Stevens, but I dont think she will make it into the top 3 (although I have been voting for her:) Tim and Andrew need to go. I think top three will be Mike, Crystol or Lee and Shibon. I cant wait for Usher to help them out tonight.
I predict that one of the guys will have a really good performance and exceed expectations. That doesn’t include Mike Lynche because he is in a no win situation because he is expected to be as good as any big black man in the R&B niche and he isn’t.
Crystal could really delight if she gives something different than her last 5 weeks of comfort zone music.
The wild card, again, is Siobhan Magnus. My guess is she will select something non-rock, contemporary and very difficult to sing, from an accomplished female vocalist like Keys or Beyonce or Riahhna – and put her originality into it. 3 week in a row Magnus has tried hard to put something truly great down, taken the risky moves – before “Superstition”. I think she will be back in the quest this week. Hard not to respect that sort of attitude, whether she soars to a true great moment or crashes and burns.

I definitly think the top 3 will be Crystal, Lee and Siobhan. Andrew and Tim have to go. Can’t figure out what people see in either one, especially Tim. he does have a nice voice, but that’s it. no star quality, and certainly not IDOL winner material.

Vote for Siobhan!!! This may not have been her best performance but Kara was absolutely right. She is entitled to one off night and that was tonight. She has constantly been spectacular with her beautiful amazing voice and she deserves this! PLEASE VOTE FOR SIOBHAN!!!
For all you nay-sayers about Tim… like someone else said “CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN TO HIM”. He really has a very nice voice. At least he is not boring and always singing sappy love songs like Michael!! Without a doubt DIDI should not be on anymore. She lost her pizzazz!!
Let me remind everyone that Kris Allen was not a great performer. In that I mean I was never wow-ed with his moves or stage presence. He still one!! Tim Urban has a good voice and definitely has the look. My top three are Crystal, Siobhan and Lee!! What say you?
i am a fanof merican idol hahaha i only watch Tv if AI is on the show hahaha i want a guy to win this season… i can’t see any potential as david cook this season… but i like casey james…
I am not going to watch tis show anymore. I believe the girls have a stronger chance this year. I really liked Didi, Siobhan, and Crystal. I can’t believe Tim is still on there. I am sorry, but he is very generic, just like our winner last year, Kris Allen. He does not “pop” for me. I believe it is a popoularity contest and NOT a signing competitoin. Didi had a very unique voice. Like Megan Joy last year. Last year, Randy kept telling Megan to sing more Adele. Did she, NO. And look what happened to her. Doesn’t American Idol stand for someone that is representing the United States? After all we voted for them. I am disappointed. The last true artist was Carrie Underwood. I have had enough. I can’t take the disappointment anymore. I’m moving on.
