American Idol 2010 Top 9 Perform Tonight – Round 2

american_idol_2010_top_9r2

American Idol returns tonight along with its “saved” contestant, Big Mike Lynche. Now that the Judges’ Save is out of the way the pressure is on especially when two singers will be sent home this week as a result of last week’s reprieve from elimination. Getting an extra performance is never a bad thing either, especially when it’s Elvis week even if he won’t be dueting with Celion.

Making up for last week’s absence of a mentor will be American Idol Season 8’s runner-up Adam Lambert. Even better is the rumor that the singers will head to Las Vegas for their chance to learn something about what it takes to make it to the end of the competition. They’ll have to figure out winning on their own. Zing!

  1. The most interesting week of the season so far. First because Adam Lambert is the mentor and he is awesome and never before an ex competitor has been a mentor so will be really amazing.
Secondly because 2 will be gone so tonight all of them must come out and give their 250% + 1 if they want to remain in AI.
I am certain Siobhan will do great, hopefully Adam helped Andrew to finally pick the right song. As per Aaron, Katie and Tim I have not much interest on what they will sing to be honest.
Lee will do a rock song that suits him great (that is what I think) so will Casey.
Mike his usual tender romantic song updated to the XXI century and Crystal her usual guitar sounding the same, always good but the same.
    Good luck to everyone

  2. YES, ITS TRUE ALL THE CONTESTANTS WERE AT THE ARIA IN LAS VEGAS ON FRIDAY NIGHT TO SEE VIVA ELVIS. THERE WAS NO SIGHTING OF ADAM HOWEVER……BOOHOO!!! ENJOY THE SHOW TONIGHT!!!!
    I KNOW I WILL……

  3. Tim will be safe again this week. Elvis will suit him fine. Aaron and Andrew will go. I haven’t been wrong yet. Adam Lambert as a mentor – give me a break !!!!

  4. @Rick….come on give Adam a break….He has been there and done that. I think the contestants need someone like Adam to help them along. Really, what did Miley Cyrus have to contribute? She made it the easy way…

  5. I think Elvis might be hard for them to sing because its not only singing but also performing. Siobhan might have the edge only because she is a performer.

Cant wait to see the one I refuse to talk about butcher Elvis.

  6. To Phyliss G,We went to the American Idol concert last year. I Was dying to see Adam Lambert, and him and Chris didnn’t meet the fans.all the other contestants did.The rumor was they were flying back earlier for ood Morning america the next day.I(along with my daughters)was very bummed.I adored him.SO TALENTED,AND AMAZING STAGE PRESENCE!!!!!!!!!I think he’ll love Crystal,Mike Casey, and Lee.I don’t get shiobbon. She is in key sometimes, but also off key too.Who is your favorites everyone?

  7. Alright guys, its gonna be tough tonight. But i believe it has to be Andrew & Mike, if not Aaron. Yeah Lee is fine & give Siobhan a break cause that girl is great. As for Tim, well its really crazy for he started to shine only when its at this stage. What if he goes all the way out to win!!!

  8. i don’t like the attitude of siobhan when judges comments on her weaknesses positively. it’s a matter of simply identifying where to improve so she can do better next time. she has become annoying that way… she has to admit that shrieking is not singing… she has to look into this positively to stay in the competition because she has the voice and the potential of becoming a star… but the way she acted tonight, i’d like her to go home…

  9. ALL I KNOW IS THAT MIKE IS NOT LEAVIN THE SHOW FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND THN CRYSTAL IS GOING TO WIN BC A GIRL HAS TO WIN THESE SEASON
