American Idol 2015 winner Nick Fradiani made a special appearance on Live! With Kelly & Michael to perform his new coronation single. Showing off the fabulous talent that won him the American Idol winner title, Nick soothed the crowd with a mellow, acoustic rendition of “Beautiful Life,” and talked about the emotional experience of winning it all.
Nick said the first time he tried out for the show he didn’t even make it to the celebrity American Idol judges. He and his band, Beach Avenue, also appeared on America’s Got Talent, but didn’t make it very far there either.
After all of that, Nick said it was an “emotional moment” to finally win American Idol 2016, especially with his family watching from the audience.
The American Idol coronation single, “Beautiful Life,” has already found success as the theme song for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015. The song also reached the Top 10 on the iTunes chart after the American Idol finale.
