    • @LCRK:  I heard P2 and JS sing Volcano.  It was amazing..he was incredible and as much as I wasn’t a fan during the season, she sounded perfect and looked perfect.  Wish I had been in Detroit that night.  (Never thought those words would come out of my mouth!).

      • Yes, I will go, primarily for Volcano. I just really disappointed  about “This Love”, it was the song where I really liked Joshua voice , but oh well, I guess others like the screaming Joshua. I like the others Idolettes too, I just don’t like some of the song selections.

    • Here I am again my Lord, don’t give up your tickets, go late, all the action happens after the intermission, in my opinion anyway.

      • Please, my friends call me “Calv”. Only the common folk must call me Lord ReKlein.

      • @Calv:  You are such a bloody nice bloke!  You should judge along side Mr. Lambert…now that’s when the ratings would go up!

    •  I saw some perfomances from Detroit on You Tube. Coltons new song sounded great. And I think , some Phillipp performances were also great: “Somebody that I used to ” with Elise were different from the A.I. version, this time Phillipp had the bigger part. And “Home” sounded better than on A.I. because Colton and Deandre did a great Job as back up singers ( I think,  male back up singers suit the song better than females.) I loved “Volcano”, strong performed by PP, but Jessica isn´t a back up singer, she has to be in front on the stage.
By the way her ” Proud Mary ” performance with Josh and Deandre as Back up singers ( and dancers ) was a joy to hear and watch, much better than on A.I.

      •  I saw video of Detroit’s Volcano performance and hated it, sound was terrible. Then I found another Detroit’s Volcano video that picked up Jess and her visual effect and voice…it was great. The Detroit Home performance I think is the best I’ve seen so far. all of Colton’s numbers were great.

  1. Yes I have seeen amercian live show and loved every minute. So sorry I will miss the 2011 show, because the show will not be in Grand Rapids  Mi.

  2. Great song list but I wish they were coming to Vegas…..They haven’t been here since Carrie Underwood’s season 5…….Long Long time ago!!!!

  3. To see some of the clips of the live performances, check out the Youtube channels of “linds2815” and “concertcameracat” definetely looks like a great show and everyone was having a great time, performers and fans. Can’t wait to see it in Ontario, CA!

  4. Love American Idol but won’t be watching if Adam Lambert becomes one of the judges.

  5. I heard DeAndre was gonna be in 11 acts total but I only count 9 here. Great choice! Just wish he had a couple more solos.

As you already know I will be attending in North Charleston, SC. I think it will be fun and we are looking forward to it.

  6.  This just in mates:

No surprise…Saint Phillip out doing charity work again! God bless him, you got to love some who gives back so much.

Phillip Phillips, Kellie Pickler, and Luke Bryan To Sing At MLB All Star Game

American Idol winner and singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips will conduct a special on-field performance of his hit song “Home” with the American Idol Band prior to the 83rd MLB All-Star Game on July 10th beginning at 7:30 p.m. Eastern (6:30 p.m. Central) on FOX. Phillips will perform during a tribute highlighting the tornado recovery effort taking place in nearby Joplin, Missouri and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Habitat for Humanity has partnered with Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Trust, State Farm and Holiday Inn to build nine new homes for low-income families who lost their residences due to the devastating tornadoes in those areas. With the help of Major League Baseball All-Stars, celebrities and volunteers, two of the homes are being constructed outside of Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, home of the 2012 MLB All-Star Game. Country music sensation Luke Bryan will conduct the National Anthem prior to the All-Star Game with former American Idol contestant and country music star Kellie Pickler performing “God Bless America” during the 7th inning stretch.

    • Jessica is also in the group performances, but Phillipp only shows up in the last 20 minutes.

      • @Pally…they do this every year, the AI winner is featured last.  P2 isn’t featured in group songs bc he is still recovering.  I am truly embarrassed that I know so much about this stupid show!
