Life After American Idol 2010 – Tour, Big Brother, & More

Now that we’ve said goodbye to Simon Cowell and ushered in another upset win as this season of American Idol comes to a close you may be wonder, “what’s left?” If you’re a die hard Idol fan then top on your list for this summer will be to catch Idol’s Top 12 as they hit the road for the American Idols Live Tour which starts on July 1, 2010 and runs through September 16, 2010. There are still some really good tickets left, even seats surprisingly close if you don’t mind paying for it.

If Reality TV in general is more your thing then get ready for Big Brother 12! The new season starts on July 8, 2010 with a whole new cast to take us through the summer. Ashley and I will both be writing over at BigBrotherNetwork.com so we’re hoping you’ll stay with the community and shift over there. The site is huge and will be your best chance to connect with other fans of the show. Of course there’s always RealityRewind.com to help fill in the gaps, so keep that in mind.

After all that we’ll be back next year for American Idol 2011, even if Simon has moved on to X-Factor, which we’ll be covering as well, of course. So settle in for a summer of Idol concerts, Big Brother excitement, and the return of all things Idol before too long at all. Huge thanks to all of you, our faithful readers, for making this our biggest season ever!

  3. Thanks Phyliss! I had a conference call interview with Adam Lambert this morning so that should be posted later today or tomorrow so be sure to check it out.

  4. If Idol believes the new web format is an improvement I believe they are mistaken. I feel it was more convenient to not only be able to scroll up and down all posts but to also be able to more easily refer to a post by the reference number Idol attached to each post. I dislike going page to page as if I were using Google. In addition why in the world would the word cl***, in my post to Simon D above, be altered to cl*** ?. Is the word cl*** offensive? In addition why don't the heck they remove the ridiculous light blue rectangular bar they overlay in the Post a new comment space. The bar is reeeealy gettin under my skin.

      • John, I wrote back to your matching comment on the other post. Quick note though, if you're still having trouble with the gray bar at the bottom of the site, then you still need to upgrade to a more recent browser. All the major ones are free and excellent alternatives to what you have now.

  5. Thanks for the idol low down this season and I'll be back next season to continue with the guessing game of who deserves to win. Looking forward to the Lambert interview. I'm a big fan, even from all the way over in Australia.

    Keep up the good work!

  6. I think they should consider artists like Puffy, Celine Dion, Sade, Beyonce, Sting, Seal, Celine Dion, Madonna, and Bono as possible judges……. Jennifer Lopez nah! I dont think may people gravitate towards her these days musically, as least not like they used to.

  7. I ordered my American Idol Tickets through this Website by credit card. I never recieved them. Does anyone have any suggestions who to contact?

    • Donna, you need to contact whoever took your money. You may have clicked a link from this website to go to where you bought the tickets, but you definitely didn't buy any tickets through this site.

Only the site who took your credit card # can help you with this issue.
