Listen To David Archuleta’s New Single ‘Don’t Run Away’

David Archuleta's new album

American Idol Season 8 runner-up David Archuleta has an album coming out soon and you can now listen to his first single “Don’t Run Away” right here and right now.

The song is a pretty light rock track and it doesn’t have much of a hook. But I almost always think that about every song I ever hear for the first time.

So instead of me critiquing the David single, let’s hear from the true fans. What do you guys think of Archie’s latest single? Is it a keeper? Will you be buying it?

David’s new album, No Matter How Far, is set to drop next month. But in the meantime, check out “Don’t Run Away” below:

  1. David was actually on season 7, haha. But I guess that’s neither here nor there concerning the song. I like the sound of it and the lyrics. I’ve always loved his soaring vocals and his lower register has really developed since his Idol days. Solid effort.

  2. I’ve pre-ordered my copy! I can’t wait for this album. I’m already loving Don’t Run Away and it must have a hook because I keep listening over and over and when not listening I’m humming it to myself.

  3. Wow perfect song perfect timeing. Can’t wait for his album. I hope this gets alot of air time. I think AI should play it on Idol for all his fans. Preordered on Amazon. And will order on Itunes. Waiting for the return of my Idol#DA2014.

  6. I love the new single by David. Can’t wait to get the whole new album on March 26th. I am amazed at all the work David did for his fans before leaving on his mission. His generosity and love for his fans is undeniable. We will be here when he returns in 2014.
