Reigning “American Idol” champion Scotty McCreery’s new single “The Trouble With Girls” is set to debut on radio stations tomorrow, but we’ve got it here for you to listen to now!
It’s a ballad and right in Scotty’s tender range. The lyrics are a bit juvenile if you ask me (“girls sure are pretty”), but then I have to remind myself Scotty is only a teenager. It would be even more weird if he was singing about a life filled with battles and challenges.
Scotty’s debut album “Clear as Day” comes out Oct. 4 but, again, you can hear “The Trouble With Girls” from the album now.
What do you think of the song, Scotty fans?
very nice Scotty…. may you go far!!!
What a painfully dull, boring, stupid song.
What a painfully dull, stupid comment.
I wish him well…..lets leave it at that….
It’s a pretty good song, and I’m sure it will do fairly well. Any guy who always felt kind of awkward when it concerns the oppisite sex can relate to it.
I really love Scotty, but I really don’t care for this song.
Another great song with a great voice. He will go far in his career. He has such great talent and has chosen this song very well can’t wait to hear the rest of the album. Great job Scotty. Congrats you have another winner here and it will climb fast. God Bless and good luck….
This song nearly drove me to tears. It has such emotion and feeling to it. Can’t wait for the albums!
Scotty is a keeper. This is a good song, young and old will like.
Initial single releases from upcoming albums are supposed to highlight the tone of the album and make you look forward to its’ release.
This is a repetitive tune, with uninspiring and somewhat corny lyrics. With the following he has, I’m sure it will be a hit as will his album but, if this is a taste of things to come, it is disappointing.
so happy to hear that James Durbin has finally signed on. Honestly, James should have had a chance to prove himself.. but America, you are way into Country…. time will tell if James will outdo Scotty.. I think so.
I give it a 6 (from 1 to 10).
Wasn’t crazy about it, but some of the phrases made me smile. What I DID like, was hearing him sing again!
Always a treat for me. Thanx.
