Did you miss your chance to audition for American Idol 2012 after the events ended last week? Well then you’re in luck because FOX has just announced one more audition event for this season of American Idol!
New Jersey AMERICAN IDOL Audition Information:
WHO: Men and women 15-28 years old as of June 26, 2011, who are eligible to work in the U.S. Some restrictions apply – please visit americanidol.com for specific information.

East Rutherford, NJ 07073-2131HOW: Wristbands will be distributed from approximately 7:00 AM on Tuesday, Sept. 20, until approximately 8:00 AM on Thursday, Sept. 22. Auditioners will not be permitted to camp out. Once auditioners obtain their wristbands, they will be asked to return to IZOD Center by 5:00 AM on Thursday, Sept. 22.
Don’t forget that you’ll need all the proper forms and documentation to audition. Here’s what you’ll need:

Wish I could afford to send my daughter but we put out $1100.00 to go to San Diego from Tennessee and Because she sang a country song they said “Were not looking for country singers this year.” That was unreal. My daughter doesn’t sing country most the time and had we been told she would of picked something else. We would of never tried but everyone that hears my daughter sing says we have to go. She has been on stage in different theater groups for years so I know she can sing. She graduated High School a year early and at 18 is starting her 2nd year with scholarships in theater. Wish the real judges could of heard her. Thanks for listening, Shirley

My daughter is 15 & has been singing for 5 years now & also has a beautiful voice..We went to Houston auditions and she was told she had a great voice but not what they were looking for this year..Kinda sad..What r they looking for? Anyone know.?
That is the million dollar question…what ARE they looking for? I’m also curious as to why an additional audition venue has been added (New Jersey). Like everyone else, I’m wondering if more will be added before they shut down for 2012?
