American Idol 2024 has entered the Top 10 portion of the season. We only have a few weeks left before the finale. By the end of tomorrow night’s episode, only seven contestants will remain. These final ten have an intense battle ahead for the American Idol 2024 crown.

Unfortunately, last week’s episodes ended with some surprising eliminations. Nya, Jordan Anthony, Roman Collins, and Jayna Elise were sent out of the competition. The judges loved Nya, Roman, and Jayna’s performances so these eliminations saddened them (and many of us).

However, the judges saved all four and put them into the Top 14, so their eliminations weren’t totally shocking, just completely heartbreaking. Tonight the Top 10 must sing songs from their birth years to try to make it into the Top 8. This means we’ll hear lots of mid to late-90s songs and early-2000s hits.

All of those eras have plenty of great songs across genres. The contestants shouldn’t struggle to find a song in which they can add a unique spin and style. To help them tackle these songs, icon, and superstar Shania Twain joins the episode. She acts as a mentor to the Top 10.

American Idol winners Scotty McCreery and Just Sam return to perform. It’s a jam-packed episode with ten performances, two eliminations, plenty of performances, and some great advice from Shania Twain. Let’s get into the AmericanvIdol 2024 Top 10 Recap.
