American Idol 2016 contestant La’Porsha Renae blew us away during Hollywood Week with her powerful voice and commanding stage presence. We were hoping that she would push herself even harder for the Top 24 round to make it impossible for the American Idol judges not to put her through to the Top 14.
Happily, LaPorsha Renae did not peak in Hollywood Week only to fall flat during the American Idol Top 24 round. Instead, she came out on stage like the queen of the show and gave a fabulous rendition of “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner. After this awesome performance, how could she not earn her place among the finalists for American Idol season 15?
