American Idol 2012 finalist Colton Dixon married his girlfriend Annie Coggeshall over the weekend in Nashville before the couple headed off to a honeymoon in Tahiti.
The Idol singer tweeted “Married my best friend last night. I love you @anniecog What a great night with family…” along with sharing pictures from the event. People magazine picked up the first official photo while the pair shared more pics on their accounts.
Colton Dixon and Annie plan to live in Nashville upon their return from the honeymoon and are looking forward to finally living in the same place for an extended period of time. “We’ve never been in the same state for more than a couple of weeks at a time, so I’m excited about that,” he said. “I’m really excited to start our own life together and get to know her on a whole different level.”
