OK so what does Victoria Beckham and Doogie Housier know about music. Why are they guess judges? please.
December 25th, 2009 at 10:37 PM
umm maybe because they are trying to diversify the show. just becaue they dont sing, doesn’t mean they dont know anything about music. what do you know about music? exactly.
December 26th, 2009 at 12:50 AM
Maybe because Victoria Beckham was a Spice girl, duh

NPH Rocks
December 28th, 2009 at 1:43 AM
Hello.. Victoria was a Spice girl (ok maybe she doesn’t know much about music..lol I made a funny) and NPH has a musical background with work on Broadway. So I would have to say that you should do your research before you talk crap on NPH

yay! can’t wait! NPH is too funny! glad to see kristin there too, though i wonder how she and nph would react to such comments as “it’s too broadway for american idol” or something…

Looking forward to see how Ellen will do as a judge and wondering who they will get to replace Simon. I think the guest judges will add a little something to the show and it should be interesting to see the different opinions each of them bring.

I’m SO excited to see this season. I’m a HUGE fan of American Idol, and am very happy that you do this to allow people that don’t have fortune and fame to make their dreams come true. Just because you don’t have money don’t mean you don’t have talent! Best of luck to everyone!
January 1st, 2010 at 8:12 PM
I am one of the few that thinks Victoria knows exactly what she’s doing. Victoria set out early in life to aspire to reach her dream. ” To be as famous as soap powder” and she’s done exactly that.Even with limited talent she joined what was to become one of the biggest girl bands in the world, married one of the most sexiest men in the world and is a multi millionaire in British pounds not dollarsin her own right. So until you can match it don’t dish it peeps.
I too am looking forward to watching the new season, not to see how the judges will do, but to see what fantastic talent is found this year. US talent usually far outweighs the UK’s where I live (with the exception of our Leona that is) So best of luck to everyone and let the games begin x

So glad Kristin will be in season 9! It’ll be good to see Victoria too, she was my favorite Spice Girl. All of you people who say you don’t know what she’s doing, but obviously she does. She has at least 15 years of musical experience, which is longer than I have been alive and I don’t think anybody has the right to say she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Can’t wait till Boston auditions!
January 4th, 2010 at 3:48 AM
Obviously Victoria was chosen because she was in the Spice Girls but I believe she was replaced by Joe Jonas, or if she wasn’t replaced by him, he will also be one of the guest judges in the Dallas auditions.

I am very much interested to see Ellen as a judge in American Idol I believe that with her experience from her previous show she will do her best…

I realy think that Samuel Larsen should be one of the 24 chosen conteatans. He is charming and marketable on top of havinf a great voice and pleasent personality. He plays in different churches, teches music to children and teens and he could be a success in your show.He playes in a worship group at the tender age of 6 or 7
January 19th, 2010 at 3:11 PM
Samuel Larsen is 18 years old. He just graduated from H.S last June. He is very talented and mature for his age. I hope he goes far

We, my husband and I have watched every show every season faithfully. We love it.The talent for this season shows alot of promise and is going to be tough for the judges. Simon says it like it is and although may come off as a little harsh it is usually the truth. What he and the other judges have to say is important for the artist to hear.
Honest criticism will help the artist grow as an individual artist.
I also have to say that Simon looks so handsome this evening in his crisp white shirt.Wow, great change, I hope it continues throughout the season.

Tired of the verbal slaughter by the judges. Why not pick the right songs for the contestants? You do it later in the show. Randy and Simon need to take an enema. They enjoy putting people down and they say “I do not know what is wrong tonight” It could not be they are the problem, not the contestants. Hopefully this is the last year for the show. It has turned into a completec waste of time.
