  1. OK so what does Victoria Beckham and Doogie Housier know about music. Why are they guess judges? please.

  2. umm maybe because they are trying to diversify the show. just becaue they dont sing, doesn’t mean they dont know anything about music. what do you know about music? exactly.

  3. Hello.. Victoria was a Spice girl (ok maybe she doesn’t know much about music..lol I made a funny) and NPH has a musical background with work on Broadway. So I would have to say that you should do your research before you talk crap on NPH

  4. yay! can’t wait! NPH is too funny! glad to see kristin there too, though i wonder how she and nph would react to such comments as “it’s too broadway for american idol” or something…

  5. Looking forward to see how Ellen will do as a judge and wondering who they will get to replace Simon. I think the guest judges will add a little something to the show and it should be interesting to see the different opinions each of them bring.

  6. I’m SO excited to see this season. I’m a HUGE fan of American Idol, and am very happy that you do this to allow people that don’t have fortune and fame to make their dreams come true. Just because you don’t have money don’t mean you don’t have talent! Best of luck to everyone!

  7. I am one of the few that thinks Victoria knows exactly what she’s doing. Victoria set out early in life to aspire to reach her dream. ” To be as famous as soap powder” and she’s done exactly that.Even with limited talent she joined what was to become one of the biggest girl bands in the world, married one of the most sexiest men in the world and is a multi millionaire in British pounds not dollarsin her own right. So until you can match it don’t dish it peeps.
I too am looking forward to watching the new season, not to see how the judges will do, but to see what fantastic talent is found this year. US talent usually far outweighs the UK’s where I live (with the exception of our Leona that is) So best of luck to everyone and let the games begin x

  8. So glad Kristin will be in season 9! It’ll be good to see Victoria too, she was my favorite Spice Girl. All of you people who say you don’t know what she’s doing, but obviously she does. She has at least 15 years of musical experience, which is longer than I have been alive and I don’t think anybody has the right to say she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Can’t wait till Boston auditions!

  9. Obviously Victoria was chosen because she was in the Spice Girls but I believe she was replaced by Joe Jonas, or if she wasn’t replaced by him, he will also be one of the guest judges in the Dallas auditions.

  10. can’t wait too whos horrible, whos not and who can tp tatiana’s drama queen tude this year?!!

  11. i love american idol. i dont really care who the judges are (but i will miss simon loads). i am just excited to see this new season and i hope to try out one year for it so best of luck to all! i love you guys!!!

  12. OMG JOE JONAS?!?! that will be INTERESTING, which leads me to a joke i found funny on Glenn Martin DDS last night.

guy doing fortune teller giving blondie her fortune: you will live in a shack with the ugly jonas brother!
    ~blondie gasps~

  13. i want to know how you audition, i mean where do you sign up, or do you just show up…
    thanks,
    dorothy trammell

  14. I am very much interested to see Ellen as a judge in American Idol I believe that with her experience from her previous show she will do her best…

  15. I realy think that Samuel Larsen should be one of the 24 chosen conteatans. He is charming and marketable on top of havinf a great voice and pleasent personality. He plays in different churches, teches music to children and teens and he could be a success in your show.He playes in a worship group at the tender age of 6 or 7

  16. I love American Idol but i think it will be the las season of this show. Because Simon is leaving and Paula already gone, and it won’t be anything without Simon. ): But i think season will be hilarous with Ellen lol.

  17. Hi I love American Idol and I would absolutely love if American Idol could come to Milwaukee,WI we have so much talent to offer and alot of crazies for good tv too

  18. We, my husband and I have watched every show every season faithfully. We love it.The talent for this season shows alot of promise and is going to be tough for the judges. Simon says it like it is and although may come off as a little harsh it is usually the truth. What he and the other judges have to say is important for the artist to hear.
Honest criticism will help the artist grow as an individual artist.
I also have to say that Simon looks so handsome this evening in his crisp white shirt.Wow, great change, I hope it continues throughout the season.

  19. Tired of the verbal slaughter by the judges. Why not pick the right songs for the contestants? You do it later in the show. Randy and Simon need to take an enema. They enjoy putting people down and they say “I do not know what is wrong tonight” It could not be they are the problem, not the contestants. Hopefully this is the last year for the show. It has turned into a completec waste of time.

  20. Robert Williams … do us a favour and don’t watch or comment, since it’s a waste of time iyo

  21. I love the way Simon put Kara in her place. Can’t believe she would say that Aaron Kelly too young to sing that song. Aaron Kelly did a beautiful job with that song and this is a talent competition after all.

  22. I already have the winners.
    1. Michael Lynche
    2. Lee DeWyze
    3. Crystal Bowersox

they are by far the best out of all of them!!!!

  23. the judges are not excting next time please think of getting peple like Shakira,Jay sean,Beyonce, cheere amd more…….. who agrrees

  24. Taletnt that no one can reveal but American idol is there to do the job.

Will see personall this finale. Will you ?

  25. Does someone knows if Adam Lambert will make a guest apperance like Kris and others made this year? Love, love him. Thanks.

  26. I can’t stand DioGuardi. She talks to much and really doesn’t know anything about the “real” music scene. She wrote a few pop songs and made some money. So what, they are trite and simple ditty’s that have no real weight or depth in the music world. Ugh…she talks way too much and drives me crazy. I love tivo so I can fast forward over her ridiculous babbling. She never miss’ an opportunity to “try” to sing, she sucks. She needs to try being humble once in a while, its not about her.

  27. Yeah i agree with the above commment!! someone needs to put kara in her place. Shes sooooo annoying!

  28. Adam Lambert has NOT earned the right to mentor. Give me a break!
And oh, what a great choice having Ellen as a judge. Like there weren’t at least 2,000 people in the industry that knows a gazillion times more about music than her?

  29. i think thadt america idol rock. any one herethat ampemt american idol should at least 10000.katie steven is the best singer on there.

  30. kATIE STEVEN ROCKS SHE IS THE BEST SINGER ON THERE . BIG MIKE SUCKS I DONT NOW WHERE HIS SINGING FROM BUT IT IS NOT GOOD

  31. Katie is good. Saw her on the Wendy Williams show yesterday. She has a really good voice. Andrew sang straight up to. Can see why he was voted off. I was one of those that voted for him but It was time. Katie has the skills to be something special.

  32. Kara is soooooooooooooooooo annoying. she thinks she’s all that, ugh i’ll tell 3 reason why she’s annoying 1.: She talks way toooo much 2.: she thinks she’s all that 3.:She made Kacey take his shirt off:( if you agree with me right a comment about this too.

  33. Casey Rocks!!! Can’t wait to see him live! I am so happy he made it into the top 3! He is so attractive because he is so HUMBLE and lets face it pleasing to the eyes and ears!

  34. Ellen has no business being a judge, and has made several comments about her preference on the show in the past weeks and is totally uncalled for and there is no reason for that, if Simon leaves after this year might as well close up shop you can not replace Simon and you need to get rid of Ellen she is a joke

  35. Why not replace Simon with a total unknown, have an american idol judge search. I would throw my hat in the ring. 25 years playing bars, corporate functions and weddings. I would make a great judge. How about a chance to guest spot? D.

  36. Is the Dallas auditions going to be on January 26th? I know the schedule is not the same as what I watched yesterday and today.
