The American Idol 2013 semi-finalists have moved on to Las Vegas and are set to begin the latest round of competitions later today. The remaining Top 40 Idol Hopefuls – check out the Top 40 photo gallery – will be split in to four groups of ten and compete in a “one song, one chance” setting before the judges.
The division of singers will be critical to who makes it through and may reveal production’s intentions for who they want to survive and who they’re ready to dismiss. MJsBigBlog broke the American Idol spoilers revealing how the Top 40 will be grouped and when they’ll be performing.
Each group will perform one day before their episode is broadcast so the chances are very high that we’ll have the spoiler results before the show airs the next night for American Idol 2013.

Looking at these groupings, who do you think will survive in to the Top 20 for American Idol 2013?
I have been an Idol fan for roughly the past 5-6 seasons and I’ve got to say that this season takes the cake for being the worst I’ve seen. The judges have no chemistry and their comments are so generic. C’mon Idol-at least put two woman on whom actually like each other! The tension between Nikki and Miraha overrides everything. agh!!! So disappointed this year.
Out of the second group of gals, I’m guessing Candice, Cristabel, Janelle, Juliana, and Melinda. For the guys, I’m fairly certain Burnell, Lazaro, and Nick should be shoo-ins, but I hope two out of Cortez/Josh/Mathanee make it. However, they haven’t shown much of the other contestants, and they could be really good, so I guess we’ll see.
