American Idol 2010 has narrowed down to the Top 10 and with that comes our official list for the American Idol 2010 Live Tour! You’ll be able to see all of these singers this summer on the tour. No official dates yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

  4. Sorry to say this, but those top ten are going to be playing to a lot of empty seats. On the other hand, I was sick that I could only get to one concert tour last year. They absolutely rocked the house, and I can’t wait to see most of last years top ten on their own tours. This year totally sucks, but blame the judges, they picked everyone of them.

  6. No tickets here either – I too think there will be lots of empty seats and if they take Miley C with them – no one will show. She was worse than any of the top 24! No wonder this weeks Idols were so poor – she mentored them? AI – what are you thinking? Think Paige going home was the right choice – Tim, Katie and Andrew can all leave and we really won’t miss a thing.

  7. maybe it’s just me but it doesn’t seem to have the same appeal it used to. not sure if it’s the talent, the format, or what.

  8. The show doesn’t have the same appeal because the talent is so far down! Thank God for Crystal and Siobhan -other than them, this top 10 defines mediocrity. Especially the men – Michael has a good voice, and big personality, but doesn’t he remind you too much of a wedding band singer? Casey is all about being a “rock star” but, despite his decent guitar chops, his voice is certainly not outstanding. Tim, Aaron, Andrew -come on! I think this is now essentially a contest between Crystal and Siobhan.

    I still think Crystal will win and even Siobhan will soon get found out…

  13. During her “Swan Song” Paige sounded better than she has all season. My son was shouting “What the …?” The whole time before she sang, after she knew she was going home, she had this look, like she was getting a bad deal, and she knew something about the whole thing that no one else knew. And then she belts out that last song???

  14. Talking about the tour Simon said before Page’s elimination that it was the great opportunity to make a lot of money. Well this season I disagree completely. Reading the posts makes me wonder if the tour is really worthy. Seems nobody likes most of the finalists and in a way I agree. This season is such a joke.
    I think this is the end for AI no doubt. What a sad way to close a great project.
    Anyway the X Factor will be a boom because groups are included in the competition and there will be much more versatility.
    Lets enjoy the rest of this program people, at least makes us all exchange thoughts.

  15. I love Andrew and i think he has a great voice , he just need to choose the right song , he better than Tim , Katie , Aaron , Didi and Michael , i believe that he will be in top 5.

  18. just compare with Danny Gokey or Adam Lambert last year, some guys like Tim, Andrew, Kathie,Didi…are definitely paper puppets…The race belongs to Crystal, Lee and Casey.

  19. Bring back Todrick Hall and Alex Lambert I say. Todrick had personality and great stage presence, Alex had a brilliant recording voice. I am not sure what America wants their pop stars to be like, but this top 10 is a joke apart from one or two exceptions.

  20. When ever have the ‘people’ at AI brought back contestants at this stage? All the people asking for bring back Alex or Todrick are wastign their time… It will never happen, so why let it bother you?

    I agree with many of the posts here. For sure this is the worst bunch of talentless singers ( I use the term loosely) there has ever been. With Paula gone, Simon leaving, I truly believe that this is the end for AI. If not then I would question.. If someone is good enough to be Idol 2011, why have they not auditioned before, or made the cut? (age excepted).

    Final note, I also think that 16 is too young. You can tell a 16 year old’s voice. They sound so childish (AKA David Archuletta). I think the age limit should be 20 (youngest – and no issues with high school) and no upper limit, but be respectful, no one wants to see an 80 year old rocking the stage.

    Regardless, Idol is history anyway!

    (based on elimination sequence in several last season of American Idol i think my prediction will be 75 % correct)

  40. I agree that Paige got a dirty deal. I understand that the judges found her Tuesday performance disappointing, but that was no excuse for them to break their own rules. EVERY singer should have the chance to save themselves with their final song. What the judges did was positively cruel. As it turned out, Paige knocked it out of the park and should have stayed on. Several of the other singer’s performances were way poorer than her last one. There is no doubt that she belongs in the top ten. Do the right thing: Bring her back.

  47. I agree with most comments. This years idols are not that good. Where is all this talent that the judges metioned: This year idols have much talent and it is tough. I remember this comment!!!! I really don’t think any of idols really are that good. They don’t sing from their soul. They need to get deeper within their singing and i never heard that from idols,for real.. The last 2 years at super bowl time Carrie Underwood messed up the national anthem big time.

  61. After listening to Joe Jonas on result show, I feel that Tim is still better than him.

    So if Jonas brothers can be sucessful in current POP music industry, so does Tim.

  62. Sue, you’re right -Joe Jonas did really suck. Miley Cyrus, too -I don’t think she’s good enough to make the top 24 on AI. I’d much rather hear Lilly Scott sing than her (actually, I’d rather hear Lilly over anybody left except Crystal and Siobhan).

    And also -although Lee has a nice raspy voice, is he boring or what?? I don’t think the judges can ever make him come out of his shell.

    didi has a voice that is naturally appealing, one that you can listen to over and over and what could be better than that?
    crystal is gutsy with song choice and performs excellently but has limited vocal range and is confined to a genre
    siobhan is a belter, an experimenter who dabbles in turning songs into art that surprisingly turns out unexpectedly wow.
    casey has got it made as a singer-artist – perfect pitch, girl-sigh looks, likeable demeanor. has everything going for him actually if the fates be kind.
    michael has a shining personality that is infused into his songs and makes them come alive.

  73. Ok, Tim should have left aloooong time ago. Also, I personally like Andrew’s vocals (best RECORDING* voice). He has a raspy voice and his pitchiness suits some things he does, watch how he does his stuff on youtube. Overall though, Siobhan is the most marketable – I don’t know what it is about her but I just say WOW after her performances.

  75. Sorry but personaly i think tim should gone home before lacy, lily, and paige. I hope tim goes home in this weeks elimination. Then next week i think andrew will go home. But hopefully get saved in the singing.

  78. i agree with you shaun,aaron has a verry powerfull voice..but he needs to have more confidence as what the judges always say..but he was brilliant and he must win this competition..he really is a country singer.i dont know why others like crystal,shes been rocking all the time shouting like shouban doing some tongue twisting when she sings..thats not music.sorry

    I live in Colorado and would love to see her! Letting her go home was the biggest mistake Idol made this year!!

  80. Michael lynch is amazing! I could drift in to Kala land because of his beautiful vocals. He has a fan in me no matter what happens!

  81. We do not like Michael Lynche, he is so boastful and too confident not an idol like personality we are just dissappointed when the judges save him so is so big that he dim the whole performance.

    and why American idol made Adam Lambert as the coach of the american idol contestants? He only won last year and not even the winner of American Idol last year he was only the 2nd placer so there’s not much that he have proven yet…

  82. Geez, this year’s competition totally sucks! Not one competetor is good! Crystal Bowersox is so overated and ugly! all Siobann can do is scream, all of Casey’s songs sound the same and Michael is a horrible singer and WAY too cocky. im sad to see Tim Urban go home. He was the only one i actually liked. He’s sooo hot. I love him;)
